Their fans are idiots. Just go to Kasabian forum and see. I dont think that most people here have any illusions about Oasis later albums or Beady Eye. Ok, you are fan and you like it more than average listener but calling this album masterpiece is bullshit.

Why have they ruined a great song like 'Glass' with 1 minute of talking in the end?

Why have they ruined a great song like 'Glass' with 1 minute of talking in the end? Seems as though Beady Eye went trendsetting when they released Flick Of The Finger. It doesn't really detract from the song, I don't have much of a problem listening to it or skipping it if it bores me.

Definitely has the same feel. I suppose we'll grow to like it, remember how divisive the end of Flick Of The Finger was when we first heard it? That's now the benchmark by which we're comparing things!

It's quite good, maybe not quite as good as I was expecting though. Bumblebeee, Bow and Eez-eh are the standouts for me. No obvious weak songs but it gets a bit dull in the middle. Think it'll sound better live as with all of their stuff.

The B-side Beanz is now on iTunes if anyone is interested. It's a bit weird - I couldn't find it from a normal search in iTunes but followed the link from here: www.kasabian.co.uk/announcing-new-album-4813/and there is an eez-eh single listed as being released 3rd June with beanz included!

I can't figure out how to stream the album in iTunes. Can anyone help? I click on the link on the front page of iTunes but can't see how to play the album!

Am I the only one who gets an early Gorillaz vibe with Bumblebee?

Exactly, I really like Bumblebeee and Stevie on record but live they were on another level, the former especially.

I can't see the link to the stream! I think I should be getting a pink artists page in iTunes but mine is just normal with albums and tracks listed and no option to stream. Any ideas?

I liked it on first listen, but it's growing even more on me.
Just wish Treat's last 3 minutes were more exciting, they missed a huge opportunity there. And Glass is dull as fook, and Motris is pointless and creepy. But no other complaints, really.

Is it bad that I can't listen to Explodes without thinking of this?

So far highlights for me from this album are:
- Stevie - Explodes (Totally feels like a track from their debut) - Eez-Eh (This tune can get stuck in your head for days) - Bow
