Throw Rob Tyner of The MC5, Iggy Pop of The Stooges & Ian Curtis of Joy Division in there and I'll vote. Also, why no Morrissey? Or Brett Michaels of Poison (pauses to puke)? As I said, if I started adding more i'd never have ended lol

Noel? The greatest singer or frontman of all time? Heads gone. It's an Oasis forum, what do you expect? Besides, he's not even leading the poll. Freddie Mercury for me.

I can't choose anyone there because I don't think anyone on that list is better than Morrissey.

No Johnny Rotten? He'd be in my top 3 defo if we're talking frontmen, in his prime with the pistols though not too keen on PIL onwards i must say. Since he's not on the list though i'd go - Elvis (any list asking greatest male singer*, my vote would always go to Elvis) Liam Gallagher (frontman 2nd only to Rotten IMO, exceptional in his prime) John Lennon (not really a frontman so to speak but a true legend so i'll give my final vote to him )

Liam G
Jagger
And... Mercury was great but I'm not into his music tbh. Jacko was a great performer but I'm not really into him either, more so for dangling kids of hotels balconies and thinking he was eleven years old and basically being off his rocker than with Freddie but his music doesn't really do it for me either

God bless.

You missed Gabriel. and it's Jon not John anderson.

if we are talking about just pure male vocals and not "frontman" status then Marvin Gaye needs to be on this list. The passion in his voice is just so real.

This might not be a popular opinion on this forum but Chris Martin really does know how to fire up and engage a crowd. Seen it multiple times. Place goes nuts,

If I had to make a dream rock band, hands down I'd have Freddie Mercury as the frontman.
