Its hit and miss with zack snyder. I mean he directed watchmen my favourite comic movie of all time. But he also did sucker punch Only good thing is that im kind of excited to see ben afflecks batman movie. That could be good. Never liked Watchmen. For me, it's garbage. I watched it before I read the comic, thought it was a hot mess. I watched it after I read and loved the comic, thought it was a bigger hot mess. It's like a lot of Snyder's films, visually stunning, but so many weaknesses. Much of the cast I'm not a fan of. I think they took witty caricatures, and just made them into caricatures. At times it's way too comic-like in my opinion (Snyder does nothing interesting with the source material), which doesn't translate too well to film. Some bits that are supposed to be funny, fall flat for me, like the sex scene between Nite OWL and Silk Spectre (cringe worthy to say the least). I'm also not a fan of the use of music in the film. All-in-all the film is a visual masterpiece, wrapped in a hot mess of a representation (some things never change). My fear with Batman v. Superman has continually been the fact that Snyder is at the helm. My fear with Justice League is that Snyder is at the helm. In my opinion, through Watchmen, Legend of the Guardians, Sucker Punch, Man of Steel, and Batman v Superman, Snyder has continually shown himself to be an incomplete director, continually wrapped in the visuals, while ignore the other mechanization within a film that make the film. He's a guy with a very expensive camera who only cares about how to work the camera. Great post. He's basically the Michael Bay of comic book movies.

You like the dark knight rises? Way better than BvS.... Just came out of the theatres. Yikes that was messy. They should stay clear of Batman because everything will look so lame compared to Nolan's trilogy which is incredible. I dont like TDKR. Not enough batman, stupid bane and too many new characters. But still the better movie. But i heard that the third batman was part of the deal for nolan to get his money for inception. Guess you can see that.

You like the dark knight rises? Yes. Catwoman...... I've said said previously, 'Batman Begins' is my favorite amongst the trilogy.....more story, not a huge fan of super hero/sci-fi/fantasy.....for instance, never seen Harry Potterr, Lord of the Rings, etc. I am Batman. God bless.

Snyder is basically a movie version of Dave Sardy. I haven't seen SvB, but after Snyder's previous superhero efforts and the reviews SvB is getting (not to mention Affleck as Batman), I don't think I'll bother. I'm not a big fan of the Marvel movies anymore either, but at least Joss Whedon has a number of amazing things to his name, and the first Avengers was pretty good.

The first thing to say is the acting is generally good from all the leads. The rest is mostly incoherent and very messy. I also didn't enjoy getting my senses fucked in the final act.
