Meh, I don't really like Superman and I only want to see another Batman if Christopher Nolan is at the helm and they carry it on from his Dark Knight trilogy with John Blake as Batman.
These sort of multi-superhero films aren't my bag... baby

Ryan Gosling shouldn't be batman. The only actors I could see playing Batman are Michael Fassbender and Armie Hammer, and sadly Fassbender's tied with Fox as Magneto. I've got my heart set on Armie Hammer though, especially considering he was actually cast as Batman in 2007 for George Miller's Justice League that never got made, and he's also co-starring with Henry Cavill in a film re-make of The Man From U.N.C.L.E, so Hammer looks a strong possibility to me. Armie Hammer? He was good in the Social Network but the reviews Ive seen for lone ranger slammed him. I dont see him carrying a movie. I cant see Don Draper either as someone mentioned. They just need to back the brinks truck up to Bale like Marvel did for Downey

The Dark Knight Trilogy really was amazing. A fine example of a great trilogy of films covering Bruce Wayne's whole story arc in only three films, Nolan really nailed the Batman character and it would be a shame if it was used so soon again in some cheesy Avengers-esche type movie that is just like any other other superhero movies. Nolan's Batman films were more than your typical superhero blockbusters. It would be a massive shame if the story was never continued with the idea of Batman being an image that anyone could represent was never explored more and we just get a reboot in about 10 years time, it would kind of ruin all of Nolan's good work in turning the series around after Batman and Robin With John Blake as Batman they could make a different kind of Batman movie and it'd be great to see how he would cope with it all compared to the multi-billionaire Bruce Wayne... Only if Nolan was in charge of it all though to steer it away from the more child-friendly blockbusters like Iron Man and all that

Joseph Gordon-Levitt! Would be great in a Batman Of The Future sort of role. I loved that show!

One of my favourite shows as a kid!

On the subject of Batman I really thought TDKR was on par or slight better than TDK. Tom Hardy as Bane was as good as Ledger's Joker.
They both had a mesmerising screen presence.

I don't know if Armie Hammer will be given a chance considering he just utterly flopped as the Lone Ranger. If you're a filmmaker, do you really want to trust what could be a franchise to someone who just squandered a chance to have his own franchise?

Tom Hardy would be great as Batman I think, but I think playing Bane in the last film might make it a bit strange. You need to watch him in Lawless, what a beast!

But you never see him with out the mask do you besides a few second flashback of Im not mistaken. Would be an interesting choice.

Tom Hardy is a great actor that was wasted in TDKR. The whole film stank of people going through the motions to get a trilogy done. Not in the same league to the previous films at all.
Bane's death was really crap too.

Bane's death was really crap too. The film felt too large. It needed to be boiled down a little. The scope was extremely grand. I agree, Bane's death was lackluster. I have no doubt in my mind Heath Ledger's death altered the course of the final Nolan Batman film. He will never admit it but that character shook Batman to his core. In film, you gotta keep pushing forward, better villains, more danger, more important deaths.

So do you reckon that he would have brought The Joker back into TDKR then, if Heath Ledger hadn't died?

In a dream world his final Batman would have had Daniel Day-Lewis as the Riddler and deaths of Lucious Fox and Ałfred. Gotta raise the bar in destruction and shock.

Superman is a man bimbo...he's a mimbo. Something like Tony here... #SeinfeldBatman is fucking awesome! All jokes aside is this movie supposed to be Batman vs Superman? I thought it would be something like the two of them working together to stop some super villain. I don't really like the sound of a Batman vs. Superman movie if that is what they're planning. Any conformation on this?

i would be so happy if Josh Brolin gets the the part of Bruce Wayne/Batman. i am glad they are going for an older type batman. They will certainly battle it out to begin with but will end up working together. my 2 favourite comic book heros in one movie. i have been waiting all my life for this!!!
What worries me is what villains are they going to use. Joker/Luthor team up? the threat has to be big enough so Bats & Sups will have to team up to take the threat down.

No one can be ever cast as Joker after the performance Heath Ledger gave in The Dark Knight, he was ridiculously good in that film.

Ledger was amazing, but this DC universe has no conection with Nolan's Batman trilogy, so i wouldnt mind see a version of the joker a little bit more in line with comics. I could see Michael C Hall playing him
