Is it bad that this announce is more exciting than the release of BE?
Love me some Pearl Jam.

Is it bad that this announce is more exciting than the release of BE? Love me some Pearl Jam. They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen. They lay waste to what Oasis was bringing to the table between 2000 and 2009. Imagine 34 song sets, any song from their catalog plus covers and guest appearances. 3 hours in length! It's also great that they properly record each gig to download off their official website. Talk about fan friendly, they define it.

Liked this new song, sounds like something from Vitalogy, which is my favorite PJ album too.

They have become extremely friendly to bands that want to play there since they are a new arena. I never miss a Pearl Jam show when they come rolling on through this area but unfortunately I'm getting married the night they are playing in Brooklyn. No dice. Gotta catch them on the 2nd leg of the tour which will no doubt happen and probably be at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!

Hey Bruno, thoughts on this Pearl Jam cover on Jimmy Fallon two years ago?

My goodness, it has been four years since their last album was released in September 2009, was literally moving from home that day to become a student. Now four years later, I've just finished university and Pearl Jam are back. How time flies! A great way to bookend my university years! I love Pearl Jam. Their first three albums for me are perfect, and Indifference is one of the greatest album closers of all time. Their last album was very very good I think, really looking forward to this next one.

Hey Bruno, thoughts on this Pearl Jam cover on Jimmy Fallon two years ago? Great cover, they did it full justice. To my eternal shame, I've never heard a single song by Pearl Jam. I've seen Eddie Vedder perform a couple of times on TV, most recently with Waters on Comfortably Numb at the Sandy Relief Concert but never heard any original songs. I think the time has come to finally pick up some of their albums. Any suggestions where to start?

If you want a crash course on Pearl Jam, dive into their versions of DM-MG-BHN: - Ten (an American grunge classic. Key tracks: Jeremy, Alive, Black) - Vs. (Key tracks: Daughter, Elderly Woman, Rearviewmirror) - Vitalogy (My fave, key tracks: corduroy, nothingman, better man) This band is like a USA version of The Who. Pete Townshend has probably said those very same words.

I think I'll dig it out tonight and I'll give it a listen tomorrow morning, let's see how it goes.
