Unfortunately none in the New York area. Bummer. I still can't get into this newest album. Songs are rather weak and the production incredible bland. It wasn't that long ago band members like Jeff and Stone said this was going to be like Vitalogy (My favorite PJ album). Swing and a miss guys.

Temple of the Dog - now there's a quality album. Cornell should write another one of these - his solo career is pretty dodgy in my opinion, doesn't really do what he does best.
Lightning Bolt is alright, but its a disappointment for me after Backspacer. Though that one had an instantaneous effect on me so it was difficult to replicate in my opinion.

It's been well over a year and I can't get into this album on any level. A first for a Pearl Jam record for me.

I honestly haven't given a Pearl Jam record a chance since Yield. I don't know why either. I really enjoyed Yield and the show I saw on that tour was great. . I saw them again on either the Riot Act or Binaural tour and they were great again but I never listened to the accompanying album. So which post Yield album should I listen to? VS & No Code are my two favorite PJ albums if that helps.

Especially these tunes: Love Boat Captain Green Disease Thumbing My Way Can't Keep I Am Mine All or None The avocado album contains Many fun tracks but I never listen to it as a whole. Same with Backspacer. Light Years might be my favorite Pearl Jam song post 2000.

I'll tell you what, Pearl Jam might not make amazing albums anymore but they are still a FORCE live. I recommend everyone should see them once. Particularly in an arena. The energy is outrageous. Eddie and the boys amaze me every time how they always play 3 hour shows, every setlist is completely different from the gig before it and any song from their catalogue is in play on any given night. Impressive shit. Plus they bootleg every one of their shows. I own 4-5 of my PJ gigs.
Tremendous to their fans.

I recently watched Twenty, the documentary by Cameron Crowe, great stuff. and also recently picked up Rearviewmirror, the greatest hits album. and as already stated, Pearl Jam put on a great varied live show. God bless.

Their last album has some decent songs, but I've heard this record before, cos they are making the same record for 10 years, flat and souless at each release and without new elements.
Their albums after Yield are all boring, only on Riot Act there are some interesting stuffs. But there are some nice songs here and there, but overall you won't miss any of their last 5 albums.

Listened to Riot Act. Was a decent listen but nothing too memorable. Need to give it a couple of more listens.

I go on and on saying this on this forum but this setlist is further proof why Pearl Jam kills it live. That's an outrageous setlist. Sometimes Hail Hail Who You Are In My Tree Smile Off He Goes Habit Red Mosquito Lukin Present Tense Mankind (Tour debut) I’m Open (Tour debut) Around the Bend
Given to Fly Interstellar Overdrive (Pink Floyd cover) Corduroy Mind Your Manners Brain of J. Infallible Even Flow Gone Garden Porch
Encore Moline (New Song) Bee Girl Imagine (John Lennon cover) In Hiding Lightning Bolt Do the Evolution Jeremy Why Go
Encore 2 Eruption (Van Halen cover) Alive Fuckin’ Up (Neil Young cover) Yellow Ledbetter

Shame that can't be said about the lazy arsed rut Oasis got themselves into.

Ok, so I decided to circle back to this record after hearing "Sleeping By Myself", which was also featured on his solo ukulele album from 2011. The tracks that stand out the most to me are:
- Mind Your Manners (Got that Vs. vibe going or something off the self titled record) - Sirens (Pink Floyd Wall tribute) - Sleeping By Myself - Pendulum (Would fit perfectly on No Code) - Future Days (Sounds like a solo Eddie song)
