I was at the show last night in Brooklyn. The band did not disappoint. Highlights for me included but not limited to: Tunnels, Afterlife, Power Out, It's Never Over, Sprawl II, Normal Person and Here Comes The Night Time. It was cool seeing the unicorns open, really loved their album from 2004. Buster Pointdexter showed up and shit got real. Barclays Center was very nice as well, extremely clean. I mostly hung out at a Shake Shack and the 40/40 Club before the bands got going.

Last nights set list. I'm sure Lennon2217 you aren't disappointed they did not play Flashbulb Eyes.

Haha, well you know I loathe that song but I did want it played......only so I could go run to get a beer without missing anything. However, Arcade Fire played nothing but gold from start to finish.

This was an awesome moment during the show, Regine on the b-stage singing across the general admission crowd to Win with the dancing skeletons from Karate Kid behind her. Amazing.

Arcade Fire ended their 8 month world tour last night in Montreal. They covered my favorite Wolf Parade song "I'll Believe In Anything" last night. This is always the worst part, waiting another 2-3 years for an album or tour. Hopefully an EP, soundtrack or Will solo album will pop up in the meantime.

Just getting into Arcade Fire. It seems like my least favorite album is Reflektor and the one I enjoy the most is The Suburbs. My favorite song from them though is My Body Is A Cage.

Looks like you've run the gauntlet on Arcade Fire releases. Neon Bible probably gets the least amount of love in the public eye but it is still an excellent release full of darker undertones and Springsteen-esque charm. I've known so many people who love "My Body Is A Cage". I personally rank the albums like this: 1. Funeral 2. Reflektor 3. The Suburbs 4. Neon Bible All slam dunk albums worth owning and spinning.

I don't know why but I'm not really interested in a Will solo album. Hopefully if he does release one it'll surprise me. I'm disappointed the tour is over already. There are a lot of places they missed. Thankfully they played a club gig here or I'd be really pissed but I need to see them play a full arena show not the abbreviated set we got.

I wish Wolf Parade would make another album. I'm not digging the solo Spencer Krug material of the last 2-3 years. He's not as engaging without Wolf Parade or Sunset Rubdown.

Good band, wish I had discovered them earlier. I'll have to give Reflektor a few more listens, it's very different, might take some getting used to. I also just discovered TV On The Radio, Arctic Monkeys and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. So I've had quite an interesting past 2 weeks as far as music goes. Lots of new tunes to add to my collection.

I like Reflektor because of its diversity of tracks. You've got Low era Bowie on "Reflektor", Neil Young & Crazy Horse rock on "Normal Person", Talking Heads on "Here Comes The Night Time" and New Order on "Afterlife" just to name a few examples. After winning album of the year at the Grammys they could have laid up and played it safe, they didn't and we as fan were rewarded for it.

I love how in "Reflektor" they incorporated, I think french, into the English lyrics. Sounds really good. The song has a good energy about it.
