Arcade Fire’s Reflektor Tour rolled into the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City last night, where the band performed a Kansas cover during their encore. Will Butler let the dramatic serenade of the bobbleheads until Win cut him off: “Guys, that was really beautiful, but that’s a Kansas song and we’re in fuckin’ Missouri. That’s gonna kill when we play Lawrence, though.” feedly.com/k/1iqKAuf

I haven't been blown away be Arcade Fire since their first album to be honest, Found The Suburbs and Reflektor rather underwhelming affairs. Great Live act though and sure know how to entertain the fan's.

Thought it was too long and had too many songs. Now I prefer it to Funeral.

That first quote by Lorde is just another reason why I don't like her. "ugh being a pop star is so weird. I'm different. ugh don't ask me to do things." Justin Beiber pretty damn annoying but she isn't too far behind. She's like the opposite end of the spectrum but almost as bad in terms of just annoying the hell at of me.
Funeral remains their best. The Suburbs is superb but the other two are bloated. Neon Bible more so than the new one. Balancing huge ideas with huge hooks and songs is difficult to do and Reflektor just doesn't really grip me with its excess.

Neon Bible Extremely strong discography, especially considering how strong of an album Neon Bible is. My only knock on The Suburbs is that it is kind of long and many of the songs are similar in structure and theme. Minor knock though.

Neon Bible contain two of my favorite Arcade Fire songs of all-time, Antichrist Television Blues and No Cars Go.

Neon Bible also contains 'intervention', which might be my favorite Arcade Fire song.
God bless.
