Definitively like disc 2 more, that stretch from awful sound to porno is just fantastic, especially porno which is quickly becoming perhaps my favorite arcade fire song ever.

Coldplay's Chris Martin DJ'd for Arcade Fire while disguised as a skeleton, reveals Win Butler
Chris Martin disguised himself as a skeleton to help Win Butler DJ at an Arcade Fire show at London's Roundhouse earlier this month.
In an interview with BBC Radio Two, Butler revealed that Martin had donned fancy dress to provide some undercover assistance in the DJ booth and described the Coldplay singer as an "amazing hype man".
Speaking about the gig, for which fans were asked to attend in either formal wear or fancy dress, Butler said: "He [Martin] was out at the DJ booth with me the other night wearing a skull mask. It was pretty cool. He was the hype man, he's an amazing hype man." Asked by host Jo Whiley if anyone had recognised the singer, meanwhile, he replied: "I don't think so."

OMG, WTF are those costumes?
Finally and I'm over the moon ...someone said the truth
Did you hear Arcade Fire's new album? I haven't heard it. Anybody that comes back with a double album, to me, needs to pry themselves out of their own asshole. This is not the Seventies, okay? Go and ask Billy Corgan about a double album. Who has the fucking time, in 2013, to sit through 45 minutes of a single album? How arrogant are these people to think that you've got an hour and a half to listen to a fucking record?
Did you see that they've asked people to wear formal wear or costumes at their shows? [Ed. Note: Arcade Fire has clarified that this dress code is "super not mandatory."] [Sighs] Well, what's the point of that? Do you know what the point of that is? That is to take away from the shit disco that's coming out of the speakers. Because everybody's dressed as one of the Three Musketeers on acid. "What was the gig like?" "I don't know, everyone was dressed as a teddy bear in the Seventies." "Yeah, but what was the gig like?" "Ah, fuck knows, man, I have no idea. I was dressed as a flying saucer." "Yeah, but what was the gig like?" "Fuck knows. I don't know. Seen Cheech and Chong, there, though." Not for me.

I think the credibility of Noel Gallagher's opinions on Arcade Fire is neatly demonstrated by the first four words of his response to that question.
Still, good to know he's alive and well.

Yeah, his comments on Arcade Fire made me cringe. Don't judge unless you heard the music or seen the live show. His comments on Arcade Fire have quickly made headlines. I think his comments might be a little out of context but if you take a pop at one of the biggest bands in the world, people are gonna react.

Did I get it right? Please don´t say I did. Don´t need to see them live, just look at the painting on his face and u must know... and I´d stop listening listening to anything Noel or Liam Gallagher related if they came on stage dressed like clawns with this sort of mask, so it does not really matter that it really sounds like a cheap synth music with a bit gayish attitude Don´t mind if it is being played at shopping centres or that kind of places u know... and nothing against homosexuals and certainly don´t want to spread any bad spiritis here, I just wondering how ecclectit taste some of u have listening this pop with full of synthesizers that sound so arteficial and what I call normal bands like..u know...guitar,rock n roll bands

Noel is speaking out of his ass here, but I do somewhat agree with him.
Reflektor is indulgent. It has its moments of brilliance, Reflektor, Here Comes the Night Tim, It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus), and Porno but i will agree with the fact that it is over stuffed. It doesn't come close to the consistent highs of funeral or the suburbs. Reflektor is kinda like Arcade Fire's BNH or White Album. It's an album that they had to make. Every band who gets that big has the right to just indulge, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it is somewhere in between.
The dress up thing, does irk me slightly but I understand that Arcade Fire is just now at the point where they need to continue to make this thing fun. They are trying to have as much fun as possible with their music and live shows. Spice things up, they've been a band now 12 year. However I feel that if Arcade Fire continues to try maybe just a little too much, that they might lose some magic that made them special.
I like Reflektor its an album I'll continue to dig into and that alone is respectable, but I'm not gonna say that it is better than The Suburbs or Funeral. This album for me, is not a top ten or album of the year material.
They're a great band but this is a transitional period for them and it shows with Reflektor.
