Well,that was definitely interesting. Not sure what to make of the song. Liam sounds awfully nasal...but it seems interesting. Can't wait to hear the full thing on monday.
Dreaming of Some Space is another interesting one.
I've used the same word 3 times now, time to think of a new one for next time.

Yeah, I was talking about the album artwork. But it doesn't really matter anyways, as Lee Mavers didn't care for the artwork, saying "someone at Go! Discs just picked it out without our input, we had nothing to do with it."
Musically, the only band I can think of that straight up rip the La's off are The Coral. Otherwise, not many bands have really have gone down that avenue. Lee's ripped a few people off himself anyways (Kinks, Pete Townsend...) so it's all moot.

You have to admit, if you listen to the La's album and their 'Callin' All' album with some of the other unreleased tracks that the Gallaghers rip them off on every album.

I was just wondering what everyone thought the lyric in the chorus seem to be? Is it 'the worst is up if your tough enough'? The W word in that line is confusing. Sounds almost line 'the words is up....or 'the worlds is up' or something i think like that. But either way I'm not definitive hearing it one way or the other. What do you fine people think ? What are exact lyrics in the chorus you think?

I think Liam's vocals sound superb but judging on the 30 second clip alone and I'm not impressed. Not big enough a step forward I'm afraid and it sounds like a typical Gem Archer 'cool' dad rock impression - stuck in a time way way back (that's who I'm predicting wrote it for the majority).
Not holding my breath but hoping I'll be proved completely wrong, and be surprised like I was with Flick of the Finger (which IS a fantastic track).
But hey, Travis unveil a new song on the Tuesday so I'll probably have something to fall back on.
