Can't judge from 30 seconds, and anybody who says they can, can fuck off.

What the shit is going on in that second track? Not sure I want to hear Liam sing backwards for 2 minutes. Still buying it, but, you know... If you don't like it at least it's a b-side so you don't gotta listen to it on the whole album. I guess you can make a bit of sense of the lyrics but once you hear the forwards version you can't really UNhear that. xD

When the DGSS previews came out, people were raving about For Anyone. Point being, you can't know from 30 second snippets. i think for anyone's a great little tune.

I'm sure I'll be loving DOSS at about 2:00 in the morning some night though.

I was awake for 3 days once working extra shifts without sleep. Was listening to Be Here Now and I swear it equalled Sgt Pepper. Obviously I was out of my mind tired.

Gem's songs always sound like they're stuck in some awful 90's latin rock era or something.

Have listened to the previews like 9000 times now, really like the vibes from SBOTA, psyched as fuck! DOSS is hard to judge but I'm very excited, it sounds cool. I think this can be BE's year! The new Beady Eye really satisfies this far, I hope the rest of the album does it too

Why is it that if a band uses synths they become crap? I've read so many comments on this forum where people say they hope Noel doesn't make another Coldplay album. Give me a break. I mean I'm not a die hard Coldplay fan, far from it..hey I've just heard a couple of their albums but they are far far from horrible. I've read people commenting that because Rihanna sung on one of their songs Coldplay are sellouts. Grow up for god sake so if BE employed Sitek does that make them sellouts too. At least they don't pretend to be something they're not. I just recently saw their new DVD 'Coldplay 2012' and they put on one hell of a live show too. I'd love see them in concert, they're enthusiastic and play their music well. That's what matters in the end. This hate for Coldplay is pretty dumb IMO. They might be dull but they are pretty good most of the time. People think it's cool to hate Coldplay because that'll show other what a vast knowledge they have of 'actual' music but it just shows how closed off they are. Rant over! PS: This is not directed at you Tapir. Just making a general comment.

What pisses me off is so called 'intellectuals' who claim Coldplay are shit...and when you ask why their only response is 'Because they aren't rock n roll' I've had people tell me this, in cyberspace and in real life and I just think that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The thing is people don't want to be one with the crowd. They want to unique. I've seen people who like Lady Gaga loving Coldplay, so these people assume if this person who likes Gaga likes Coldplay also, they must be crap without even giving them an honest chance. I've seen this in real life. People who haven't heard a single song of theirs putting them down because they are: a) Liked by teenage girls who like Gaga/Beiber b) They aren't Rock N Roll c) They have 'no attitude'. And it just gets on my nerves after a while. I mean the band never claimed they were 'rock n roll' or that they're full of attitude. They make good music, that's all. Whether a Beiber, Lady Gaga, Rihana or even a Kanye West fan likes it, it doesn't make the quality of their music any less. Uh-oh...went on a rant again.

Haha, yeah, just a matter of taste i guess, and i think they're a great band as well, especially live, and i love their albums, but Mylo Xyloto just didn't do it for me, not just the synths but the album as a whole. I only like Hurts Like Heaven and Princess of China actually, and i guess Us Against The World a bit.

I never got this "us vs. them" mentality for music. Even in Oasis' prime in the mid 90s, it didn't stop me from listening to Blur. There is room for all when it comes to music if you want it to be so. Too many follow the Gallagher beliefs TOO strongly. There are many great bands out there other than Kasabian and the Arctic Monkeys.

Apparently if you like Chris Martin you're a loser. Wow
