What a prick. Only read the first few and that was enough. Don't know why people seem to care what he says or does. Just a boring, ugly bell end.

Some of those quotes truly made me And some were just But to be fair, it's hard to judge quotes out of context. Because we could say the exact same thing about many of the quotable quotes put out by Noel and Liam LOL. Out of context, some of their words also sound horrendous. A lot of Yorke's quotes read obviously as sarcasm. However, I can't say I know much about Thom Yorke at all, other than his music. Whereas I know Noel and Liam better, having seen them in interviews, concerts, etc.

And people say Liam's the prick!... "I don't really think of most non-English as people, more or less indigenous squirrels that I fancy to kick around with my snakeskin French Persian Boots" Worse than this are the really bad jokes... "You can't make an egg without frying an egg"

You guys do realize all those quotes are made up right? None of them are factual. If so, links to articles or videos please? Good luck with that.

That's a lot of quotes for someone who rarely does interviews There's one quote that says, "Make me breakfast or I'll kill you" ~ Thom to a 1980's Hewlett Packard computer Seriously, you guys bought this. Yet, let the same thing happen to a Gallagher and most people would say, "Can't believe none of them read on and chose to believe what they were reading instead at looking at the context of the interview. I guess some people just look for reasons to dislike Noel or Liam" And congrat yearzero for questioning

Yes, I'm sure Thom Yorke would say something so offensive and bizaare as 'I'm Chris Martin with down syndrome'. This one takes the biscuit;
'"Look at that fat kid, in the audience. You want some pie you little fatty? I strongly dislike fat kids. Security, please remove him, that fat kid, over there, by the pies.'
Dead certain he would say this.

Not to mention its 2013 and that website page looks like "Johnny's first blog" circa 1998. Seriously though, I don't get the hate for Thom Yorke and Radiohead. If you don't like their music fair enough, move along. Radiohead hardly do any press, never rip on bands and speak politely when forced to. Pretty hard to hate on that laid back approach. I'm not sure why Noel and Liam have ripped on them so much. They were never really rivals to begin with. At least Noel acknowledges how amazing they are live (I highly recommend everyone to see them at least once). Talk about a band that isn't afraid to try anything. Radiohead set the bar on that one. Noel and Liam could learn a thing or two.

Radiohead are educated.......all the members are Oxford graduates - that goes against the Oasis philosophy, i guess... and yeah, Radiohead are fucking awesome live......great presence and interaction with the audience. the show i went to Thom was taking requests from the audience.....whether the song that they then played that was requested was already slotted to be played or not, i dunno but it was still cool that they give an audience a good show. God bless.

To begin with, It was Thom who slagged off Oasis first with that Wonderwall cover, so the Gallaghers took the piss toward him.
I thought that this was real and it would have been nice to see that he is a funny guy, but he is too overserious prick to do that.

God bless.

Well I took that moment all those years ago (1995) as very tongue and cheek. Pavement did the same thing with Wonderwall in 1997 and I wouldn't get bent out of shape over that either. Radiohead have literally been silent on the Gallagher brothers front for almost 20 years. Noel and Liam have taken plenty of shots at them since with tons more venom that was uncalled for. I guess Radiohead let their music do the talking. Ok Computer > Be Here Now Kid A > Standing On The Shoulder of Giants Live Recordings > Familiar To Millions Amnesiac > Heathen Chemistry Hail To The Thief > Dont Believe The Truth In Rainbows > Dig Out Your Soul Oasis wins with Definitely Maybe over Pablo Honey and if I'm being brutally honest, The Bends is a tie with Morning Glory. * all opinion based but not many outside THIS forum would disagree.

From 2007.....................
Thom Yorke has responded to a verbal attack from Noel Gallagher, suggesting the Oasis star learn to respect other musicians, reports Y! Music.
The Radiohead singer came underfire from Noel in a recent interview, when he dismissed Yorke's apparent desire to "sing the news" rather than play the band's hits.
"No matter how much you sit their twiddling, going, 'We're all doomed,' at the end of the day people will always want to hear you play 'Creep.' Get over it," insisted Gallagher. "I never went to f--king university. I don't know what a paint brush is; I never went to art school," Gallagher said.
"I did. It taught me to respect other artists," was Thom's response in a brief retort posted on Radiohead's website this week.

God bless. I'm not a huge fan of Kid A either. Definitely do check out Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows, those two albums are very accessible and more in line with Ok Computdr than Kid A. "There There" just might be my favorite Radiohead song, certainly in the top 5. In Rainbows is even more accessible than HTTF, beautiful guitar and piano driven songs from start to finish.

I always assumed Noel and Liam dissed their music so much partly because Radiohead has always seemed to be one of the favorite bands with critics - aswell as being popular - and they don't see their music or ideal as very rock n roll. I've never really compared their albums to Oasis but you do have a point. I'd still say Morning Glory is better than the Bends, though. And haters gonna hate but I'd put OK Computer above anything Oasis if I was trying to choose the best albums of the 90s. Correct me if I'm wrong but I have never once heard either of them mention Pavement.
