It's obviously just a ploy to whet the appetite, a teaser if you will......put the track out as a "leak" then if it garners a buzz then release a visual to go with it, no way this is the official single/video though.
And it's pretty obvious to me that second bite of the apple is the 1st official chart single, as they said themselves in Accrington they are doing the second video (second bite of the apple) - which it technically is due to the release of this flick of the finger visual.

Is it a strategic movement ? Maybe they want people to laugh at them during the week-end and finally come back victorious and be praised with the single on Monday.

It's cool, kinda trippy. However, as you guys have pointed out, this is just a teaser to have something on the screen while the song plays in YouTube. Works well at that.
