Am about to hit gym and not being a dick at all just asking That good or bad?? My lingo ain't up to par these days man . Just me saying i prefer the sex pistols version with Sid Vicious on vocals. I like the stones but their cover of that song doesn't come close to the original for me. Wasn't having a go mate just wanted to make sure you knew Lennon loved Buddy Holly. |

Pearl Jam's cover of "Last Kiss". This was a huuuuge radio hit in the spring/summer of 1999. I think I heard it on the radio everyday that summer. I love me some Pearl Jam, but this cover was terrible. can't stand it, but then again, I had heard the original a ton from my Dad. |

That is all Good point WirralRiddler, I have read that Dylan quote before. and of course I can't argue with the man himself or you guys with much more musical experience than me. Just that Hendrix's version never grabbed me (brilliant guitar tho, that's the highlight), maybe I should give it another listen. for a long time didn't even know Bob Dylan wrote it and was surprised and loved it when I heard it (the original album one), not a hardcore Dylan fan or anything lol but All Along the Watchtower is one of my faves  |
