Looks like another shitty off season my O's. I can't believe they didn't sign Balfour because of his physical. Hopefully Tommy Hunter can step in as the closer. We really need 2 starting pitchers to eat up innings. I mean veteran starting pitchers. They should be knocking on AJ Burnetts door.
Looks like another .500 or below season, oh well.

They just need to develop arms. Look at what TB has done. Their farm system is awesome. The Orioles do have 2 potential #1 guys. Kevin Gausman who pitched mostly as the long relief guy last year and Dylan Bundy. Our defense is solid. Ranked #1 last year with Machado at 3rd and Hardy at SS. I just expect another 80-85 win season which is pretty good considering they play in the AL East. Before 2012 we had 13 straight losing seasons so I am happy with 85 wins. |

I'm not an expert on baseball but hate cheating in sport, so yeah, fuck him. I' m surprised they did not sack him. If I was owner of the club, would not want to have such a player in my team... ruining the reputation

Kershaw has second lowest era in major leauge history ( or since 1900 ) for a starter who's 25 with at least I think 100 starts .....who's number. 1 TOM SEAVER  and the mets sucked he had to be that good to win even I didn't know that man . Edit I know Koufax was late bloomer wasn't great til 27. But still that's impressive for Tom terrific aNd Kershaw

But hey la had to cause he woulda got it elsewhere , he's a huge stud ,no doubt , but look at Pedro He couldn't sustain. And he had as good a stuff as any pitcher I saw ,, Seaver included. Seaver was a better pitcher ( thinking , mechanics. Control , even fielding numerous golde gloves ) but Pedro had as good or better than anyone I remember. And if he woulda signed a contract that long. Boston woulda got screwed .,, but this guy is bigger so who knows |
