well, i believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. i believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. i believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing astroturf and the designated hitter. i believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and i believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days...
God bless.

Robinson Cano will wear #22 (his original Yankee number). That is all.

This day 94 years ago, Babe Ruth became a Yankee. On December 26, 1919, the Boston Red Sox sent the Bambino to the Yankees for $125,000. cbsprt.co/BabeRuth1919

Glad Seaver still has record for highest percentage of votes ......said this many times .......if he had Maddox or glavine teams he would have had 380 plus. instead. Of 311

Of 311 Tom Seaver also pitched during a 4-man rotation era. Imagine how many more wins Maddux and Glavine would have had if they lived in such a time. Maddux should have broken the PCT. record. He was an artist in every sense of the word. #MadDog

Seaver, Koosman , matlock ,were big 3 ...and at seperate times Nolan Ryan Gary gentry jim mcandrew filled the last 2 Mcandrew and gentry in late. 60 s and early 70 s to mid 70 s Ryan from 66 or 67 til 70 or 71

Maddox also played on teams that averaged over 90 wins for well over a decade and Seaver pitched on many 5 man rotations and lost wY more 1-0 2-1 games and countless no decisions because mets sucked and when he got traded to reds they got broken up # tomterrific #thefranchise

Lennon2217 not arguing just giving stats Seaver pitched I many 5 man rotations and to prove it. In 20 years 647 starts. Madux. In 23. 740. So 355 to 311 has nothing to do with rotation numbers , I stand by assertion Seaver would have won 380 to 400 if he played in those teams and had the 93 extra starts on great teams

Lennon2217. Curious. Gimme best 5 starters you saw ,, I'm older so I will have different ,,,and Clemens was not in it before steroids ,,,,, he was traded when he was in mid 200 s then did juice , he's great not in my dream 5 ,, I know we will disagree its cool I know you know your shit I don't think madux is all time for me just benefited from consistent teams. Why in playoffs he was mediocre ..jmo. Like don sutton who has like 330 or so . And not all time . Here is my top 5 I VE seen. No single season or Guidry would be there. 1- Tom Seaver 2- bob Gibson 3- Steve Carlton 4 - Pedro Martinez 5- randy Johnson Nolan Ryan. Not consistent enough for me ....randy just lights out ,. Lennon2217 your right Pedro sustained long enough it ske him over Palmer as my 3 righty

But wouldn't go as far as say a lot better ....I hated Palmer ,,arrogant fuck ... But he threw 5 different pitches retired young , and was always at his best . A tough pitcher ...but as I said Pedro put up enough brilliant years not a ton as he like Koufax was a shooting star for being brilliant .. But you ate right Pedro is the better pitcher

That's my problem by the way with hall of fame. Both Pedro Nd Koufax are obvious hall of farmers , but really don't have the hall of fame records because Koufax only had 5 or 6 great seasons and Pedro not many more yet they are hall material . And I agree !!!! But mattingly who has like 6 years of hall of fame brilliance both offensively and defensively won't get in .....stupid
