Funny. Making some controversial thread to give some chat on. To spend some time you know. Plus, SMC is better than any track on NGHFB. You would have pissed yourself if that track wasn't released until noel's solo career. You know it. Get over it.

Good one, keep improving the quality of the community. it maybe would have been funny referring to NGHFB if he would have written "A.K.A what a dick"

I quit like SMC, I often listen to it once in a while, it has an hungover feeling, is it about Kate Moss
Not a bad song and neither extraordinary, it should have been shorter, but imo it's much better than Stop The Clocks and Record Machine.

This should have been on SOTSOG with Liam vocals.

This should have been on SOTSOG with Liam vocals. I totally, 100% agree with you. A missed opportunity for sure. Noel was beginning to sing far too many songs during this and the HC era.

Listen to the commentary by Noel over SMC on the Time Flies dvd. His reaction to the song is pretty funny. He proper hates it. Have you heard his commentary on "All Around the World"? I fell off the couch when I first heard that. I was laughing for hours. I also quote him a lot from the commentary on that track. "Some people are just fucking stupid....." He says this when he finds out it's one of Oasis' biggest selling singles :3 Yeah hillarious. When Noel tells the story of them rehearsing it in the Boardwalk Noel: This is 3rd album gear this tune. Bonehead: 3rd album?! We've not even got a fookin manager, what the fook are you on about man. Haha

This is the only good version of the song
The song on the record is pretty bland and misguided I think. If Noel had kept the song for a few years before releasing (like with Let There Be Love), I really believe it could have been so much more. And I fucking despise the awful choir affect on it.

I find the choir stuff really annoying in the NGHFBs. Reminds me of a church or gospel sometimes hehe.

I like almost every song by Oasis. Even "Little James" which most people hate I do like the melody... the lyrics are shit though (actually I prefer the demo over the SOTSOG version) . as for "Sunday Morning Call" I agree to me it is miles behind the HFB stuff. I also agree with the above post that "Gas Panic" & "Roll It Over" would've been more pleasing choices as singles to me. I was having a talk with my friend who likes Oasis and mentioned I thought "Full On" is a classic example of a B-Side being better then the A-Side. But its all opinions I think "Born on a different cloud" is one of the best Oasis songs and definitely the best song to date Liam has written... so see what I mean about opinions? I know a lot of Oasis fans really don't like BOADC but to me it is amazing.

Sunday Morning Call is one of the few Oasis songs I really don't like. Yeah, some of the live versions are not bad, but the song on the album really bores me. I feel like it builds up and doesn't go anywhere, and compared to some of the b-sides that could have made that album Sunday Morning Call is kind of the low point on SOTSOG for me (aside from Little James). To me, anyways, any song on NGHFB is better than Sunday Morning Call.
^ Shout out to the Born on a Different Cloud mention - love that song and think it's one of their most underrated. Agreed!
