Wanna hear a fucking sad but true story ,,,zep is the only major band and the only band I ever wanted to see that I didn't their last word tour was 77 I was 12 at 15 " in through the outdoor " was released and the big tour for 1980 was" zep over America 80 " look it up we camped out outside record baron for 2 nights getting stoned and wasted all Friday and sat tix went on sale at the barons ticketmaster Sunday morning all of us scored 4 tix each 8 bucks a pop!!!!!!! For best seats in house near stage anyway like a month later I'm getting ready for school and read the top of daily news rock drummer found dead I didn't give it a thought til I read it and its bonzo !!!!! Like a week later all concerts cancelled zep disbanded I never saw them as zep totally fuckin dissapointed ....true story Massive disappointment! Zepp are brilliant, there first four albums are pretty much flawless. Some the later stuff is also great. Zepplin are one of the few big bands that never released a truely awful album. They are one of the band who i put in the never overrated sction every album rocks. This is prehaps my dad playing every zepplin album from the day i was born.

MGMT- Oracular Spectacular Apart from the singles theres way too much filler on this. too much praise was heaped onto this but apart from the singles (Time to Pretend,Kids and Electric Feel) does anyone ever mention other tracks. No cause they suck. Pearl Jam-Ten Just shocks me this outsold Nevermind and that shows me at times America really sucks when it comes to music. Eddie Vedder just leaves me cold as a singer and his continiung whining didn't help thank god Oasis came along and saved the day. Radiohead-Ok computer Its more for the fact its always number 1 in the greatest album of all time list. Is it better then Pet sounds, Revelvor, The Stone Roses, Never Mind the Bollocks, Exile on main Sreet? is it fuck, its very good but the Bend pisses over it. Arcade Fire- Neon bible Awful follow up to their Debut album Furenal yet critics still threw praise upon it. The Velvet Underground WhiteLight/White heat Compared to other Underground albums the hype didn't win me over. Jesus and Mary Chain did it better in the 80's. Totally agree with Radiohead - OK Computer. The Bends is a far better album for me personally. Especially when it is rated the number one in the 100 greatest albums polls, it is far from the greatest in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it is a great album, but I feel there are loads more albums that deserve more praise. Its the fact its voted number one as greatest album that drives me mad, its great but so many more albums are better. The Bends is sooooo much better imo .

Lol, only melody-crazed Oasis fans would think that The Bend is better than OK Computer.

Anything by Foo Fighers, way overrated band. Pearl Jam - Ten, I agree. Anything by Sting/The Police, just dreadful.

Foo fighters first two albums were great but yeaj they slacked off since with the odd great single. The Police's firat two albums are great and after that the odd single here and there. Sting sucked although Fields of Gold is a good album.

Radiohead-Kid A: Could've gone with Ok Computer as well (its a fantastic album though 9/10) whereas Kid A, IMO is a little more hit and miss as an album. It's an amazing album at times and other times I'm a bit bored with it. It's a good album but hearing how it predicted how the early 21st century society, just irritates me and it does get a little too much praise. Top 100 albums for 00's yeah but top 10? No.
The Shins-Oh,Inverted World: It's really just nothing special to me. I really should like the Shin's, but I can't help but think they are just a "decent" band. Sure this album set up the template for 00's indie pop but it just sounds boring to me.
For this board, just about anything Kasabian has released. I love their 1st album and their 3rd is good but the rest of their catalog is hit and miss. Love their sound but tunes are lacking at some points.

Glad someone else feels that way thought I was alone here ,,,, while I was off the forum they became sorta big I guess I have listened to all of there work and can only ask 1 question. WHY? There a decent sounding rock band but just don't get the devotion guess why I'm on a oasis forum, lol but your right on here alot of people revere them it seems ......don't get it to be honest

Anything Mike Portnoy has done since leaving Dream Theater, because of all his slobbering fans seeing him as god and the only drummer worth listening to when he has become mediocre.

I think Kasabian are alright but i do agree they are overrated and they have overused the Pretty Things SF Sorrow and Primal Scream's Screamdelica sound over their last two albums. I think a live album would be their calling card.
