An old clip that popped up on YouTube of Paxo interrogating the head of Coca-Cola in Europe... eye-opening and entertaining at the same time. I knew Coke is obviously high in sugar but I was surprised at just how high (a single cup of Coke Classic, as served in cinemas, contains 44 sachets of sugar!).
Mental. Imagine putting that in a cup of tea... "How many sugars d'you take?" "Er, 44 please."

Watched The Hours a couple of days ago, about Virgina Woolf who wrote a book these two woman use as an escape from their boring daily lives, but I soon lost the plot a bit. The bits about Virginia Woolf were pretty interesting. Nicole Kidman is a good actress.
Finally saw Montage Of Heck too. It was very interesting to see how Kurt grew up, and what he was like. In my eyes he wasn't a genius, he was a twisted man. I'm glad he and Courtney only had one kid. They appeared like loving parents but man, taking drugs while you're pregnant and immediately after giving birth and continuing to do so? That appartment was no place for a child to grow up.

Such an intense performance, the way Carney's drumming speeds up shows just how much energy and emotion he's pouring into it.

just watched "the guest" and was blew away, brilliant film, with a great soundtrack too I watched it last year and wasn't too pleased with it. After reading it was playing up on the thriller clichés I think I was a bit too harsh on it. A lot of predictable stuff once a new scene started.

Watched the first episode of Daredevil. Seems pretty damn promising and the reviews seem absolutely rave about it. Who else has seen it and if so, what'd you think of it?

Only watched the first 6 so far but highly impressed. The brutality in some parts makes compelling viewing. The Punisher is being introduced in season 2 so be interesting to see what they do with him

It's still great to watch all the episodes again after 9 years and the title tune is still brilliant (New Rose by Damned)

Love a good Pixar movie... Genius concept, up there with toys coming alive in 'Toy Story', and as ever, the execution was sublime. Funny. Poignant. Brilliant animation and voice work. C' est fantastique! Coming home from the cinema to find my trouser leg had been tucked into my sock the whole time was a bit of a bugger, but overall, it's been a good start to the day.
