Watched that new Peter Kay show 'Car Share' on BBC iplayer - full series being streamed there before TV.
Wasn't expecting much, he hadn't really done anything of note since Phoenix Nights in the early 2000s (thought that Britains Got Talent spoof was utter shit - hated that character), but I have to say I thought this was brilliant. Very surprised and a real return to form. Top top stuff, it's not laugh out loud funny but it's strengths are well rounded characters and it's bittersweet and quite touching which absorbs you in.

 Two episodes in and pretty impressed. Good cast except the guy that plays Foggy. Looks wise he is a little off but enjoying his performances so far. Can definitely see his character progressing a lot from the awkward goofball youngster into a more serious character. Going to be a second season too  Up to episode 9. I believe King Pin is who Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket would have turned into if he made it out of boot camp. , |
