Movie: The Equalizer (badass movie by the way) Found a interesting new song called Vengeance too from it.
TV: Cosmos: A Space time Odyssey. I watched the first episode while back, wasn't impressed. But during my sickness, thought I'd give it another shot. Glad I did, pretty good science based show, aside from the strange animations.

A really f'ing good movie this one. Recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it. Great satirical view of 1950s America that's at times, really quite thought provoking

Went to watch As Above So Below with my little sister (she's 19) and she had already watched it and convinced me it was a good movie. Had no clue it was horror. I'm quickly going to watch something else now before I'll be unable to sleep. I like sleep, okay

I'm quickly going to watch something else now before I'll be unable to sleep. I like sleep, okay I really loved this film. It's been awhile since I've seen a good horror movie and I am constantly searching, mostly to disappointment. But this one was very entertaining with very few cheap jump scares (I think just 1). It had a well thought out plot and no cliched nudity to distract from the character development and setting. It also wasn't a gore fest which is another cliche in horror movies. And that ending...very creative, even if it was a little predictable. It made complete sense in context to everything we seen in the film. The atmosphere was what got me and the mythology behind it all. It was laid out perfectly. So as far as the claustrophobic, found footage genres go, this was a 8/10 for me.

The Trip. It was funny, but the whole "let's just impersonate famous people" schtick got pretty damn annoying by the end of it. They ran those jokes into the ground.

Get him to the greek.
Different from what I expected, but pretty funny and hysterical. And P. Diddy is actually not a bad actor at all.
Also watched Did You Hear About The Morgans? yesterday. But I think I've seen that one before, right when it came out, because it was all too familiar but I couldn't recall all of it. Love Hugh Grant. It's actually Hugh Grant week on this one channel.

I've just seen 'The Wolf of Wall Street' for the first time yesterday, I was a bit skeptical throughout the year since its release, as I hadn't particularly enjoyed the previous Scorcese/Di Caprio collaborations, but what a brilliant joyride of a movie it was. Reminded me heavily of 'Casino' and 'Goodfellas' in terms if storytelling. I might have to watch them again, probably just forgot how good those movies were on their own. Let alone 'Taxi Driver'. Anyway, the most surprising thing about 'Wolf of Wall Street' was to see Jonah Hill actually playing a strong and believable character while still being hilarious as usual.

Fell asleep during the Aviator and Shutter Island. Enjoyed Gangs bought Leo was too baby faced for that role.

I just watched the famous basketball documentary Hoop Dreams with my girlfriend the other day. It follows two Chicago high school basketball players and films them over their 4 years. Both of the kids are trying to make it into the NBA but they face a bunch of challenges. What a fantastic film about not only basketball, but American life in general. It is a top 5 documentary for me for sure.
Even if you arent a fan of basketball if you're patient with the film (its three hour long) there is a lot you can take away from it.

I've decided to make my own Beatles "Black Album". I began mine the same way Ethan Hawke did his. Love that initial track sequencing. However instead of 3 discs I condensed mine into 20 tracks. Easier to digest and listen in one sitting. 1. Band on The Run - Paul 2. My Sweet Lord - George 3. Jealous Guy - John 4. Photograph - Ringo 5. Maybe I'm Amazed - Paul 6. Instant Karma - John 7. What Is Life - George 8. Mind Games - John 9. It Don't Come Easy - Ringo 10. Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp - George 11. Jet - Paul 12. Whatever Gets You Through The Night - John 13. Isn't It A Pity - George 14. Let 'em In - Paul 15. Imagine - John 16. Live and Let Die - Paul 17. Goodnight Vienna - Ringo 18. Awaiting On You - George 19. Nobody Told Me - John 20. Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five - Paul Songs: Lennon - 6 McCartney - 6 Harrison - 5 Starr - 3
