Slow start but improved massively after about twenty minutes and delivered some classic Pegg and Frost moments. Not as good as Hot Fuzz but a good 8/10 for me. I think like Shaun of the Dead it will be one of those you have to see a couple of times before you fully get it.

Cubs getting a win against the Diamondbacks #JuniorLakeYea, he's raking at the moment. He's barely in the top 15 of the Cubs' best prospects. For once, the future looks good. Our minor league system is stacked with hitters.

Yea, he's raking at the moment. He's barely in the top 15 of the Cubs' best prospects. For once, the future looks good. Our minor league system is stacked with hitters. With Soriano about to be traded to the Yankees, this kid will get his chance to play the next 65 games at the big league level. He reminds me of Starling Marte, who has far exceeded what I thought he would do in 2013. He had a terrible strikeout to walk ratio just like Lake. However, there are guys like Adam Jones who overcome that issue. We shall see what comes to pass.

It's been almost a week now, but Luther's last episode (ever?) was brilliant.

Not as strong as Hot Fuzz or Shaun of The Dead but no one can deny how great these Pegg/Frost/Wright projects have been. Also saw Wolverine last week. Decent enough but a bit boring in places. Dat Mariko...

Dat Mariko... Yeh I agree, although I've never been too fussed about Shaun of the Dead, it is a great film no doubt, but Hot Fuzz has to be one of the best comedies I've ever seen. Every single joke lands and it keeps it up from start to end. It would always be quite difficult for this one to live up to the standards they've set but there's some nice gags in there and some classic Pegg/Frost/Wright mayhem with the robot things. I enjoyed how they referenced cornettos at the end with Nick Frost

Finished the Second Season of Sherlock. Love that show. Any idea when it starts up again? They still need to finish the last episode I think, scheduled for filming late Summer so it will be a while off yet. Of course Comberbatch and Freeman have both been pretty busy this year...

I thought that it was a cliffhanger season finale. Crazy British TV. They only did 3 episodes in season 1. How many are they planning for season 2 then?

The waterboarding scene from Safe House, and I thought the drill scene from Autopsy was well done.

You misunderstood me gd, you did see the finale of season 2, it aired a year ago over here and since then they've been writing and filming season 3 which will also have 3 episodes as well I think. They still need to film what will be the finale of season 3.

And that last episode of Season 2 was amazing. Have you figured out how he did it? It has to have something to do with the guy on the bike that knocks Watson down and makes him takes his eyes off the scene for a little while. Maybe something to do with the dummy at the beginning of the episode. But he was on the phone as he stepped off though...

You'd think the guy on the bike must have had something to do with it or else why put it in? There's been lots of talk about the part of the pavement next to the bus-stop but in this picture he seems to have missed it anyway... Obviously, Molly Hooper helped Sherlock fake his death in some form as Sherlock asks for her help, saying that he thinks he's "going to die", so it would be interesting to see what role she played in it and in watching the re-runs of series 2 episodes I realised what a good character she is. It's quite amusing seeing her have this mad crush on someone who's completely socially inept and treats her like crap most of the time but she had her moment in the last episode of series 2 where she actually reads Sherlock and realises he only pretends to be happy in front of John.

I saw that Sherlock trailer earlier and got all excited again. But it's been so long since season 2 ended that I pretty much forgot all about it. I may have to rewatch also, someone made this mytardishaswings.tumblr.com/post/57192502449I think it's a spot on reflection on the type of sociopath he is

I can't wait for season three. Easily one of the best shows on TV today!
