Finally saw Bridesmaids. Real funny in parts. Wish they used someone besides Mya Rudolph though.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Never been a Lord of the Rings fan but we got the blu-ray as we've just bought a player and the films are so visually impressive, I thought it would be a good first film to watch to compare the quality to DVD's. It looked absolutely beautiful but the film is ridiculously long. The first 40 minutes of so could easily have been condensed to about 10-20 minutes for me but once it got going I actually quite enjoyed it

OUR NIXON. fascinating ..... If your remotely political you must watch ..... Not left or right ...but one thing all can agree on I believe tricky dick was the most paranoid political figure in us history... It's a must watch for the Vietnam era protest footage and how Nixon underestimated the enormity of the movement really ..

Watching the complete series on Netflix. I was definitely one of the geeks in high school and one of the freaks in college.

The Wolverine. The very definition of a 5/10 movie.

Criminal Minds. I've watched too much of it. Between work and that show I think I am in danger of warping my mind irreparably.

The Trip, starring Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan. This is one of my favourite moments from the series...

the trip is brilliant! they're filming a second series based in Italy I believe, should be great. Didn't know that. Great news! Almost too many great moments to mention from The Trip but here's just one more that cracks me up every time - the Trevor Eve running gag... a selection of deleted scenes from the DVD extras

Espn nine for IX Fascinating look at Katerina Witt. And her life both in a pre and post German reunification , and a look into the politics of the East German sports juggernaut .. If she did not win a second consecutive gold something that had not been done in ages the GDR would not even let her skate professionally since no East German was ever allowed to do that until her ...talk about coming through under pressure She did it . Imagine knowing one lip up and you'll never see the outside world other than the eastern bloc ( of course it became a moot issue , but she still skated not knowing the future was changing that's real sports pressure )

I finally got around to watching Cloud Atlas. Interesting movie with a lot of ins and outs. I liked it but feel like I need to watch it a second time. A lot of stuff going on at all times. 3 hours long too.

The Reagan presidency ..... A great insight into Reagan's philosophy and how he dealt with the soviets and the nuclear question and other foreign policy related issues .... A great watch ..... Reagan gets made fun of by the " hipster left " but he was not the knobhead they would like you to believe by any means ..despite what Barbra Streisand , and Alec Baldwin and the rest of the elite Hollywood left want u to think and try to rewrite his history .

I watched the complete season of Orange is the New Black, twice in less than a month. Completely obsessed. Smart, fantastic writing. I had to rewatch with subtitles because I missed a few things/references.
