side note: my friend's friend's first kiss was with the drummer from the Strokes..... also, I find it weird that Julian's credited with writing the songs, at least he used to be, and he doesn't appear to play instruments, at least not on stage.... love the first two albums Stokes albums, like a song here and there from then on.....and love what I've heard from Julian's solo album. God bless. In my opinion the quintessential Strokes song is on their WORST album. How ironic. Probably should have been the first single over Juicebox or whatever it was called. Great tune though! 100% agree with you on ''You Only Live Once"" - amazing song musically and lyrically. Check out the performance from 'Oxegen 2006' if you haven't already, probably one of the best live vocals I've ever heard.

God bless.
