I wasn't planning on going on here to post right now, but since people appear to be flipping out and keep sending me messages, I guess it's good to put the record straight. All I can say in terms of the other demos is this; relax, keep calm. All these demos are in good hands. The reason why all the demos aren't online for everyone to download (and grow ungratefully sick of withing five minutes) is, from what I believe, that an offer was made that means even more material might be secured. Until I have verification that this is infact legit (and this will take a little while), I won't be posting all the info I have on here. I have been collecting Oasis stuff for over 15 years. Things have changed, and unfortunately people today take it for granted that everything should be available immediately, 24/7, and at no cost. This is the best and worst of today's technology, I guess. Unfortunately, someone has to pay the price for this, whether it's you, me, Noel Gallagher or his management. Take my advice; check this forum again this weekend. I am a man of my words. In the meantime, do what people used to do; listen to the song they like more than once. I agree with you about the impatience issue, but I think its more that some of us take news that someone may be "hoarding" as a slap in the face to a lot of us that want to get the material available to all, when a lot of us that have been speaking in this thread have been involved in getting material like this before and have done so at a personal cost with nothing expected in return for sharing. Plus, the news of other material being procured and available is even better. As for the thing about "cost", one thing this fanbase has proven in the past is that as a collective we can get shit done in that regard. If 50 people pitched in £10 with only digital files being the return expected, Id be more surprised if the goal wasn't reached. Personally, I'd gladly chip in some coin just for that and just to get the material out there for all of us. |

Thanks Joakim. I noticed you said you have been collection stuff from Oasis for over 15 years. Does this mean, there are more Be Here Now demos and or/ better quality from the ones we recently got a year ago (My big mouth, Stand by me, Ihitik)? Hahah. I hope you. I'd deff and I know a lot of people would chip in for that.

Leaking stuff is never easy, for many reasons, so we appreciate what you do and what you did Joakim, be sure of that.
And i agree with your comments. Oasis fans have been spoiled this past 2 years: one Beady eye record, one NHFB + demos, countless gigs and many bsides + a leak every now and then. It's not 95 anymore but it's still a good time for being a fan. There's almost always something happening.

There was only one b-side for every single released. Gone are the days of two or three b-sides per single. So 'many b-sides', I think not. ;D |

Don't let those people get you down, the same thing happened to Jim and his blog, people demanding stuff like it was their god given right, some people are just ungrateful and want everything yesterday. Thanks for everything you've done so far and continue to do you 're a ledge mate. I'm always willing to chip in some £££ if its ever needed. I look forward to see what happens.

This guy at the BritpopStore will surley need to make some money soon. With these tracks, the 98 Demo's and early Boardwalk stuff, IS there hope for the Mustique tape or Bhn Demo's too?!

Honestly think we should have a board where people can name their price for rare material. I'm sure there's enough people in the community willing to lay down money to get all of the material out in the open.

IS there hope for the Mustique tape or Bhn Demo's too?! There's no reason for there not to be. The only thing it takes is a source whose willing to part with/share the material emerging. That's all it ever takes. And its not always easy. This fanbase has had some very good luck once a source emerges. Usually if a piece of something appears, the whole thing is out in time. |
