Liam's had more than his fair share of threads concerning his worst vocal performances...so I was just wondering, why not turn it around and see how Noel fares?
Anybody have any vids/recordings of Noel at his worst?

This is pretty flat but it picks up a bit near the end...

Actually we can't blame Noel at his vocal on Glasto 95 as he sung most songs from yet to be released WTSMG for the very first time. And the band even got boo'd from the audiences cos they played a lot of new songs, so I was told by my good friend who was at the festival. Still the Glasto 95 bootleg is very good. "Slide Away" is my very favourite version.

Noel's vocals started off pretty bad live, but by 1999 they drastically improved up until 2009. They got a little worse this past tour but nothing terrible, I think this is a pretty dodgy vocal, sounds under a lot of pressure to hit the notes:

gets worse at the second chorus, they had sound issues. speakers blew up so noel couldn't hear anything except for the drums.
skip to 10min 55sec

early live versions of acquiesce, noel definitely struggled to hit the chorus and it is often almost painful to watch/listen to.

This is pretty flat but it picks up a bit near the end... That boot has a very "demo" feel to it which this version of DLBIA definitely has as well. Sounds as though there was zero mixing of the vocals for Noel. Overall a pretty blah vocal though.

at the gig in düsseldorf, 2009 he seemed a bit drunk and sung out of order.

I always thought the Brits Awards 2007 version of DLBIA was less than satisfactory. It was like Noel was so used to doing the slow version that performing the full band version seems to have thrown him off.

Always thought this was a bit of a shocker. Noel seems to surprise even himself with that yelp in the first line!

Noel hit his vocal peak in 2005. Imagine Oasis live with Noel's vocals from 2005 and Liam's form 1995...

This is an odd one. I've always loved this performance but if you listen to it subjectively Noel's singing isn't great at all.

On a side note.....The L4E Awards may have to be postponed There just aren't enough complete ballots. I've only received 7 complete ballots, and the other 5 that I have are less than half way filled out. I know there are more than 12 regulars who can fill out ballots. There 15-25 regulars who visit regularly enough to fill out ballots. I'm extending voting one for more time. This time for the next 72 hours. If I can't get the ballots to extend them, they may have to be cancelled.

Never listened to it in isolation but it sounds amazing next to the rest of the shit Liam served up at that thing!

I don't think Noel ever nailed 'Falling Down' in a live setting. Other than that Noel always brings his A game to his gigs.
