Liam had an afair with Sara? Sara was involved in the split?
Jesus Christ (superstar)...what a second hand gossip.
I don't bother why they split, a "real" reason etc etc , it happened and let's face it, you can't deny that you didn't see it would happen sooner or later.
I do still think it's a big shame "how" they split.

Won't bother with this, think I'm gonna give Tony McCarrolls book a go though, is it any good? I would say its essential reading despite the fact its biased, petty (the Spartan/Non-Spartan thing at the end is the most childish thing I've ever seen in print) and at the end of the day just your standard axe-grinding "rock star" (and I use that term in the loosest sense) auto-biography. He tries to discredit Noel at every available opportunity. Whilst I don't think Noel is an angle he certainly isn't as bad (and cowardly) as the book portrays. I believe the truth is somewhere in the middle. But yeah, buy it, read it. It'll only take a couple of days or so to read. Just make sure you take it with a pinch of salt.

It is good. Focuses a lot on Noel's evil side. ;D Yeh the only reason I haven't bought it already is because I thought it would just be an attempt to wipe Noel's name in the dirt which I didn't want because whilst I prefer Liam, Noel is still a hero of mine. I want to read about Liam and Bonehead and all the stuff they got up and what its like to be in Oasis The book does put Noel in a bad light sometimes sure, but it is a great insight into the very early days of Oasis. Liam comes across cool & shows how much he was clearly into his drugs in the early days too. Some funny moments with overall no doubt alot of truth. Worth a read.

I was hoping the book would shed light on the REAL reason Oasis split. I have given this alot of thought and I think Liam is Donovan's biological father. I feel that Liam and Sara had an affair. This is why Liam and Noel no longer speak and why the band split. Also why Noel decided to marry her after 2 kids. Listen to the lyrics on NGHFB. Lot's of mention of crying and loss and love. This is just my feeling. It's crazy that you say that because, although I don't believe in that, I noticed the other day how much Donovan looks like young Liam. What makes you think that though? I also think Sara was somehow involved in the split, and it could have just been a small detail but it's also a bit weird that Liam would be harassing her (unless Noel had his phone off or something) Crazyness.

From the same interview I think I remember Noel saying that relations had broken down with Liam to the point that Liam had gotten in the habit of calling him and being abusive towards him on the phone so Noel got sick of it a changed his cell number. Apparently at that point Liam started leaving the abusive messages on Sara's phone for Noel. I don't think Liam ever actually was abusive or harassing Sara with her as a target. Seems like she was just tossed in the middle by the two brothers.

Both of them are not perfect, isn't that why we like them? It is for me because they are just normal people. Flawed and as capable of frailties as the rest of us.

Can't believe the bullshit rumour on the first page has escalated into this! It's my fault they split. I started whistling Little James in front of Noel so he cracked my head open with a Gibson.

You know... it's ok to be a *huge* fan of a public figure, but when you start sounding like a borderline psychotic fan maybe it's time to step outside, have some fresh air and think before posting some nonsense rumor delusion to spread out all over the internet. Think about it

The McCarroll book is definitely something to read, but as other have said, what's said should be taken with a grain of salt.

That's what I always thought. Of course it's completely absurd but people like to investigate certain mysteries and secrets so they will always make up something 'exciting' and bombastic aren't they.
