It was one of the best sounding songs off the DOYS tour. It's good to be free is boring without a guitar solo and mucky fingers is one of my least favourite oasis songs. Noel can do any song he wants because his voice has kept much better than Liam's, although the rockier songs would have to be done on an acoustic of course |

It's a pity he doesn't do one different Oasis song (or perhaps a cover) per gig that is exclusive to that gig. Over the course of a tour he'd have a remarkable set of live songs recorded to create an absolutely stunning live tour CD box set.
Don't know how he and the band don't get bored playing the same setlist (good as I think it is) virtually every single night of the tour.

Only heard alive once and that was a while back so I can't really remember what it sounds like just given it a listen on YouTube and I think its absolutely amazing, just when I think oasis can offer me no more I uncover one of the b sides and it makes you think just how good they really were...

I'd be happy with the Coachella setlist, swapping out Little By Little for The Importance Of Being Idle and Mucky Fingers for The Good Rebel But on my wishlist for Vancouver I would like to hear: Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks (which has been dropped sadly for me, I like it a lot) Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me A Simple Game Of Genius Any 2 songs solo acoustic (don't care for the "Whatever" full band version hes been doing) |

You can really hear the emotion in Noel's voice when he plays by himself. Like say, Slide Away, I think Everybody's on the Run would sound great on just an acoustic guitar. From the Oasis catalogue I'd like to hear a High Flying Birds' version of Hey Now or The Girl In The Dirty Shirt. Also, Underneath the Sky, Sad Song and Let There Be Love. |

i definately think noel should have an acoustic part in his gigs.
dont get me wrong- i love the rockier songs too, but i just think noel is really amazing when he is singing stripped back acousticly. his voice is perfect for it.
the acoustic live versions he has done in the past such as slide away, dont go away, listen up ect are spine tinglingly good.
i would love to see him sing idlers dream live. i rate that up there with some of the best oasis songs and it is certainly the best b side since the early days.
i also love take me away- an early favourite off supersonic single.
i dont know why he always does mucky fingers live- ive never been a fan of that song.
just like meaning of soul used to always get sung live- there are miles better songs they could have chose than these.
