Ok, someone had to start a thread about it so there...
I think it'll be great...but I have a question. Do you think it'll include some songs that were not included in The Masterplan? Round Are Way, The Fame, Step Out, Flashbax, etc?...those songs deserve to be release!
And btw, can you think of any band that has released TWO b-side compilation albums??...If so, it certainly weren't as good as The Masterplan and the new one to come!
I think D'yer wanna be a spaceman, I got the Fever and My sister Lover are great too

This album won't be probably better than The Masterplan but it can be also good album, far far better than the albums of other bands (like Fix You - I am really disappointed of it). Well I think the album will have 12 tracks and here is my choise:
Shout It Out Loud Thank You For The Good Times Eyeball Tickler Carry Us All Full On One Way Road Idler’s Dream Won’t Let You Down Pass Me Down The Wine Let’s All Make Believe Helter Skelter My Generation

is this for real or just a wish By the way some songs which would be good
My Generation Helter Skelter Cmon Feel the Noise Step Out Dyer Wanna Be A Spaceman Cloudburst Boneheads Bank Holiday Whatever (I know its and A side) Maybe should include a couple of the live b sides eg supersonic, cigs and alcohol or maybe a demo columbia or alive (my favorite demo they should rerecord it)

Those songs u just mentioned comes from Be Here Now era and the older ones ... and the new B-side album is going to include only what comes from SOTSOG to now I know ;D but I think this new album could have a little help These are the b-sides from the SOTSOG-DBTT era: <----- This means it should DEFINITELY be included <-----This means I like it a lot but lots of people don't Let's All Make Believe As Long As They've Got Cigarettes in Hell One War Road Helter Skelter Carry Us All Full On Just Getting Older Idler's Dream Thank You For The Good Times Shout It Out Loud My Generation You've Got The Heart Of A Star Eyeball Tickler Won't Let You Down Pass Me Down The Wine The Quiet Ones So, according to my selection I think they could use some old b-sides to make the album stronger, cause quite honestly I don't want any covers in it

Well, it's not bad idea to use some old B-sides that weren't on The Masterplan. Especially I think some of these ones Round Are Way, Take Me Away, The Fame or Sad Song (Don't Go Away single)
PS: Why my is karma -1. What did I do wrong?

1- Eyeball Tickler 2- Let's All Make Believe 3- One Way Road 4- Shout It Out Loud 5- (as long as they got cigarettes) in hell 6- wont let you down 7- Thank You For The Good Times 8- Pass Me Down The Wine 9- Just Getting Older 10- Idler's Dream 11- My Generation 12- (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star
i think this will do well, maybe they'll add some new stuff from the fortcomming singles. but these tracks stand up, of course it's no masterplan, but its a good album. and noel said the album is gonna include the b-sides from sotsog till this one so there won't be any older stuff.

noel didnt say that some of the older bsides wouldnt be on it, because last time around noel deliberatly left off some bsides, the fans only choose some, so id bet some of the older ones, like step out and sad song will make it, if pass me down the wine and the quiet ones are on it, then it dosnet desreve to do well

id love to see noel record his "ryan adams" version of wonderwall and use that as a bside. might be really class a studio version with andy on piano and gem on guitars and backing vox.
could be class..... ;D
although i like totally new songs as bsides as well...step out and full on are 2 of my favourite tunes... ;D

Let's All Make Believe, Shout It Out Loud and (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star are the only three that I think should be definites; there are other good choices such as Full On and One Way Road but as far as I'm concerned those are the big three.
I'd actually be a bit annoyed if they included Carry Us All or Just Getting Older; they're definitely below-par as far as Oasis B-sides are concerned.

I think Lets All Make Believe is one of Oasis' best songs to date. They have plenty of songs that could go onto the new B-side cd.

I dunno if it would be such a great idea to release a 2nd B-sides compilation. A few crackers aside, their B-sides aren't as good as they used to be back in the days when every single had 4 songs on it and they could ALL have been big hits (as Oasis singles used to be). If I had to pick an album of them though:
01. Eyeball Tickler 02. Carry Us All 03. Won't Let You Down 04. One Way Road 05. Just Getting Older 06. Thank You For The Good Times 07. (As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes In Hell 08. Shout It Out Loud 09. Let's All Make Believe >>Best tune on the fuckin' record! 10. (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star 11. Pass Me Down The Wine 12. My Generation 13. Idler's Dream
Plus you never know, there may be some corking B-sides yet to come. But so far the post SOTSOG batch as a whole don't match up to the pervious set. the key point is that 13 or 14 songs isprobably about as much as a new B-side compilation could muster, whereas in the old days they slapped 14 together and still had 5 or 6 tunes left that could easily have gone on there.
