I don't mind it. Listening to it in the background while browsing the web I didn't dislike much, the women in their songs don't add anything, why are they there? Are they the wives just wanting a cameo or something? I'll give it a proper listen later.

Yes the first part is really the best one, after that it's just too fucking long.
I think SAHITS was way better.

I really want to hear an exciting remix of a song like SBAJF or STC, or even EOTR. I think we're good for AKA WAL remixes now.

The UNKLE mixes are miles better than this and to be honest I prefer Shoot a Hole Into The Sun, a lot more laid back and the changes are a lot more subtle. Of course there's also the bonus of a fresh new vocal track rather than using the old one. On the plus side there are a lot of interesting sounds but when it comes down to it AA are a bit of a faux-psychedelia thing and I think Noel would produce better results by doing an album with UNKLE or Death In Vegas or even do a tune with Steve Mason and Gordon Anderson of the Beta Band, this started off a something much anticipated but with the further delay and the quality of the tracks already out there it's beginning to lose interest

Yeah, the UNKLE mixes are far better, I might have liked this more if Noel did a new vocal for it, once the 8 different lines from the song are sang its repeat. Exactly the same, no difference for me, and they use them all in the first 2 minutes. Same in the original version, but its not 15 minutes! It sounds good for the first 2 minutes then those women come on, I can not stress enough how much I hate them, why add them? They aren't even singing for the most part, just shouting "WHAT-A-LIFE..WHAT-A-LIFE..WHAT-A-LIFE!" like they are at church or something ridiculous. Same thing in Shoot A Hole Into The Sun, they're singing a bit but it sounds stupid. I cut out the last 2 minutes of that song because of them. They use the the lines quickly too on the UNKLE mix but I feel they do it justice, the UNKLE mix should end at the 5 minute mark, the last 3 minutes feel forced and I lose internet. I lose interest quicker on the AA Mix though.

Comparing the AA and Chemical Brothers' remixes of Falling Down really does show how average AA are.
Noel should have given the songs to Chemical Brothers instead, the album would have been far better and more commercially successful.

If Oasis/Noel/Liam really are your favorite artists then there is no excuse. Whatever you do with regards to getting other music you should be paying for these ones. We don't all have to have massive collections but you could at least buy the albums and singles.

Firstly, mind your own business and don't DL it if you don't want to. Secondly, its not out yet and takes even longer to get to my country. I have bought everything put out by Noel and this is no different. If I wanted self-righteous I'd listen to U2, not some prick on a forum. |
