!
Holy shit it's amazing! Fingers crossed Noel and his management don't bottle it and refuse to release the AA album. If this album has more of the same then the critics who slate him for being a luddite will get off his back.
But seriously, it's amazing. It would be the most exciting thing Noel would ever do if he released it. If you don't like it, don't listen to it because he'll be back with his more conventional stuff after anyway, so I don't understand the objections to it in all honesty.

16 fucking minutes!
I feel like if you're a fan of the Falling Down remix, you'll like this. I am, fortunately.

If it had ended at 5:15 it would have blown my mind with brilliance, but it did not end there. It went on for another 10+ minutes. Ridiculous really.

It's 100x more interesting than Shoot a Hole Into the Sun. Dunno how many more times I'll listen to it, but it's not bad actually. It's got some cool parts and it ebbs and flows pretty well.
Still can't imagine an entire album of this stuff. Just not enough melody to warrant multiple listens. Yeah there are some cool sounds here and there, but it's just not something I would ever really turn on unless I was standing on my head throwing paint around hoping to create some form of impression-anarchist art.

Definitely better than Shoot a Hole into The Sun, but it would've been better if stopped at 5:15. Not sure if I can stand a whole album like this.

The first 5 minutes are great, but it gets a tad boring after that.
Overall it has a great mood, it's a great background song for when you're sitting on the sofa with a can of beer thinking about how the world's going... but not something i'd listen everyday on my daily commute.

Too long and boring, too many "breaks". I was expecting a cracking remix after listening to the 30-second preview but I was disappointed.

Indeed better than SAHITS, but still too long, I won't hear this more than ten times in life... Once again makes me wonder if I'll like a whole album like this....

I have just reached 5:15 and am now feeling very nervous about the next ten minutes...

I like it but I agree, too many breaks, too long. But some parts are reall great.
I really would like for Noel to release it to take a risk in his carreer. Even if it won't attrck the mass, it's interesting and it deserve to be release as an album.

Yeah...the first 5 minutes of this remix would have been a better idea. Maybe 6-7 minutes but a total of 15 was not needed.
I can't imagine all the songs from this AA project are going to be this long however. So far we have heard 2 tracks at a combined total of 23 minutes. I believe Noel said the album will contain roughly 13 songs. I'm guessing Freaky Teeth will be around 4 minutes or so. Very curious to hearing the AA version of the death of you and me. The short clip previews sounded very cool.

i want psychedlic songs like freeky teeth. just simple, in the vein of early pink floyd for example. not those long psychedlic remix shit. it bores me. this genre holds much more than this

It's now been one year since Noel announced to the world that he has two completely finished solo records. It is a shame the AA album keeps getting pushed back considering he said he finished that one first! I was looking forward to the AA album more than his proper debut. Hopefully that day comes in early 2013.

Got to believe his management are carefully watching the reaction to these songs. I think some of the stuff will eventually see the light of day, but I'm going to guess they will continue to be bsides to future singles. Think he was blown away by the Falling Down remix but after giving these yahoos an entire album to do, he was like "wtf, they're just a bunch of drugged up doofs that turn great 3-4 minute songs into 12 minute noise sessions with no multi-listen qualities".
Oh well...finish up the tour, disappear for a year and then record a great album...just make sure you put Freaky Teeth on that mother fucker.

Noely Poly said he'd be back in the studio this month to work on the mixes so hopefully we'll hear more about album progress soon...
