I would go with the article. Just because setlist.fm have been shown to be inaccurate before.

Just got back from Louisville KY show
Yet another great performance from Noel. Same set list (Wonderwall instead of supersonic ) He did not play LTLSALOM
I met Noel (before the show) crossing the street from his tour bus to the venue. It was perfect timing as I walked around the block to check out his tour bus. I wasn't prepared with a Cd cover or anything else to sign , so I broke out a dollar bill from my wallet and Noel signed it right on the spot. Much thanks to whoever brought a pen for Noel.

Yeah, I'm gonna assume that LTLSALOM thing was a mis-print. He didn't play it in Chicago. But it was a great show nonetheless. First I've gone to see a horseshoe casino. For some reason I was expecting the venue to be like the Metro (which barely fits 1,000). Instead, it was fairly massive. Looked to be about 3,000. Though Noel was the early act, he had a fairly good crowd. By the time he was finished playing the venue was about 70-75% filled. The band sounded great. Though I think the mix on Russell's vocals were a bit off. He was extremely high during WAL. For his backing vocals, he completely drowned out Noel's vocals. Was wondering if anyone knows if Noel's using P-90 pickups now. Because his pickups were extremely hot. When he played the little fills in WAL, it sounds like a jet had taken off. And the sustain that Tim Smith was getting on his gibson was great. But Noel sounded great vocally and it was great to finally see Mike Rowe. When Noel played at the Riv I was at one of the shows where Mike Rowe had to take off. But Mike Rowe was awesome. Anyways great banter by Noel too. Best bits: fan- "This is the third show of yours I've been too." Noel- "Third? I've done a 157. What the fuck have you been doing?" and Noel- "For a country who doesn't buy my albums. You American sure know a lot of my fuckin songs." Tim Smith laughs. Noel- "What the fuck are you laughing at. You're American!" Great gig all around. Till the next time.

I would go with the article. Just because setlist.fm have been shown to be inaccurate before. I was at the show in KC. The setlist.fm setlist is correct. He didn't play LTLSALOM. In fact, when I read the review, I had to take a moment... Did he really play that? How could I have forgotten that? Anyway, the article from the KC Star contains a number of inaccuracies. The release date, when Noel last played in Kansas City, etc. It was a rockin' show. Jake Bugg was good. Snow Patrol's strobe lights almost sent me into a seizure.

I think the article has LTLSALOM and Dream On mixed up since that would follow the usual setlist and the two are (kinda I guess) similar.

Dallas setlist:
It's Good To Be Free Everybody's On The Run Dream On If I Had A Gun... The Death Of You And Me Wonderwall I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine AKA... What A Life! Talk Tonight AKA... Broken Arrow Half The World Away Stranded On The Wrong Beach Whatever Don't Look Back In Anger
The paper setlist had Supersonic, but he played Wonderwall in it's place. Seeing Noel do Wonderwall is the high point of my concert going experience in life.

Just got back from the Dallas show. It was amazing. My brother and I yelled out "Whatever!" before he played Whatever, and we got a mention for that and a joke. It was nice.
Brilliant as always was Noel tonight.

I didn't see this post until now, after the show. It wouldn't have worked anyhow. I had to wait until 6:30 pm for the babysitter to turn up before going to the venue. Luckily, I only live 10 minutes away in Grand Prairie.

I posted my review in the lounge thoughts section, but I thought I'd just post again that Noel was amazing tonight. Sang loud and proud, with a few weird looks.

Glad you all had a great time Jake Bugg was great in Vancouver, bought his album off iTunes as soon as I got the chance, Snow Patrol were more popular in Vancouver than Noel, but not by much, the crowd was alive when they played, they also had a technical problem that night as well :S. Only once and it was the keys, and it was going to be a keys only song as well, right as soon as he started singing they stopped working, so the band just walked on and they did another song instead.

Last night was interesting from a crowd stand point. Old folks, kids (like 10 year olds), and a dude who looked like he was straight out of Germany in 1960. It was a very pro-Noel crowd. I'd say 25% of the people took off after Noel, and the crowd was motionless for the most part for Snow Patrol.
Funny quotes for the night: Right after RM, some guy yelled, "Play it again!" To which Noel responded, "Play it again? You just fucking heard it."
Some girl moved from row 9 to the front at one point. Noel questions her, "Did you just get here?" She responds, "I love you, man!" NG: "Well, not enough to turn up early. I've been on for an hour already." Girl: Flashes nine fingers and says something Noel doesn't understand. NG: "Nine what? Are you a cat or something with nine lives?" Girl: Repeats herself, but louder. NG: "Oh. You are from row nine. These are not your seats then." Points to security and says, "Security, throw this fucking girl out of here!" Then laughs.
Before Whatever, my brother and I yield out, "WHATEVER!" NG: Looking at us. "Whatever. I hope you're fucking speaking of the song." US: "Definitely!" NG: "Instead of like whatever, man" (spoken in a hipster, mocking tone)
Overall, it was a brilliant affair. Good crowd, great tunes.

Oh yeah man, Snow Patrol was horrible. Had to look down every once in awhile because the lights were killing me, their sound made my dad's and I's ears practically die, and the crowd was really, really dead. Gary wouldn't shut up either. But they're pretty much a one hit wonder here, so it was expected.
And as for someone that does like Snow Patrol, the problem is that I really, really like Final Straw and Eyes Open (the rest are shit), and that was like six years ago almost now. I don't even remember the words to Chocolate, and all the other little hits of theirs anymore. Which was probably the case for everyone there.
IMO, they needed Noel as much as he needed them for this leg of the tour to work.
But what really got me, is that before they came on, Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out came on and a lot of people started dancing to that. It was just ironic.

I had an AWESOME time at Dallas last night. Loved watching for Oasis/Noel t-shirts audience, seemed like there were a lot of fans. Wished I had bought tickets a little closer (will know for next time!!) we were sitting in at the front of the second section back. My view of Noel wasn't *perfect* while sitting down and I didn't feel right sitting anyway so I stood up, my Mom was gonna stand up by me and the guys behind us were like "But we can't see!" so she sits back down. I fussed at her a bit and she was great, told the guys behind us I really wanted to stand and they were cool with it. The crowd was awesome and there was lots of love for Noel (who was perfect as usual). Loved it when he came on stage ... "Howdy." Kinda wish I'd skipped Snow Patrol, they were WAAY too loud and the strobe lights were awful. Didn't know most of their songs anyway. The technical issues with the guitar were kind of interesting though lol. My Mom loves Chasing Cars so we stayed for her to hear that one. Major shout out to Jake Bugg, he was awesome. Shame with so many people just coming in trying to find their seats and blocking the view of the stage, I just tried to ignore them lol. My mom enjoyed his part best of all the gig (she's not really into Oasis though). I think my Dad liked Jake too, said he sounded like a young Bob Dylan who could actually sing lol. Keep hoping his album will be available soon on Amazonmp3, I want it So I've heard Don't Look Back in Anger live, seen the Chief in person, and bought the t-shirt. I can die happy now

Could've posted this a few days ago but I saw Noel at the Louisville show. My friends and I never got to see Oasis so it was pretty awesome hearing him play Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, and some of the other tunes. I really loved the version of Talk Tonight he played with the full band. That was probably the highlight for me... All of the songs from the solo album were great too! It seemed to me like most people were the there to see Noel and left after he went offstage... we even got to move up to better seats because there weren't as many people. Can't say I really enjoyed Snow Patrol.. I'd seen Noel and was ready to drive back to campus by then and the strobe lights were hurting my eyes. I had the latest Snow Patrol album from my sister but they only played like two songs I recognized and only like one from that album. Also the singer kept trying to talk to the audience and be funny like Noel was but it only ended up being kinda awkward like he was trying to hard... Anyways shout out to Jake Bugg - he was great. His album isn't for sale in the US yet but when it's released I will buy it for sure.
Overall great show, definitely glad I went (:

he was in top shape last night, he was feeding off the energy of the crowd and showing how comfortable he is at being a front man now. It got so loud you could barley hear him singing at all! you could tell he was having a good time last night..he ended up singing supersonic...instead of wonderwall i guess he realized more people were there to see him than snow patrol..jake bugg was awesome..and snow patrol was snow patrol...almost had a seizure watching that show.
