I was at the Edmonton show too...and yeah, it definitely seemed like it was a Snow Patrol show. That being said, I was on the floor and nearly everybody started standing up a few songs in. It seemed like the people who were there for Noel made it clear whether they were mouthing the words to most of the songs or wearing Oasis shirts. Not going to lie, it was great to hear him play Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, and Whatever and seeing other people sing along even if it wasn't as loud as you'd expect from a set like his. Also, somebody a few rows behind me was screaming for Freaky Teeth to be played. i was just as sad as he was

Everyone in Vancouver (On the floor at least) stood up as soon as Noel walked out on stage. I wasn't really watching the people around me but a few of people near me were singing along or at least mouthing the words along with Noel. I sang/sung (sang/sung-depending on your outlook on life and word pronunciations) every song, had no voice the next day. A couple guys were shouting for Freaky Teeth as well. Noel said "Thank you" after he put his guitar down after finishing Don't Look Back In Anger and stayed an extra few seconds applauding back to the crowd. Thought that was nice

How is the US tour going so far ?? Any concerts sold out ?? Someone wrote that Vancouver was pretty packed. What about the other gigs? I mean , it's kind a strange that he tours the US now for the third time ,....IMO !!!! he can't even fill small theaters in some places ( San Diego, Phoenix !!! ) ,....and now he's the " support " act for Snow Patrol ?? Why didn't he just pick a few major cities for single gigs ? I went to the Tabernacle in ATL,.......it was awesome . Sold out, top lads ,.....great atmosphere. Come back, please !!!

These are just bonus gigs. Some in places that he wasn't going to go to otherwise. He already did a couple legs of theatre gigs to major cities. I'm just grateful he came to my city. I don't care the gig was only 50-75% sold out. They obviously made money and I got to see Noel play again. I don't think any have been sold out. Neither Noel or Snow Patrol are that big anymore in North America. Although Snow Patrol have we're relevant more recently so it's fair enough they play last. It was probably close to 3/4 full in Calgary as I said. But then Bob Dylan didn't sell out in Calgary either but you couldn't get a Justin Bieber ticket to save your life (not that I tried) though. So go figure. The floor was sold out, I think. Everyone on the floor stood up when Noel walked out and stayed up the whole time. I was sat in the stands and the people immediately around us sang along with every song, Oasis and HFB, so my friend and I were in good company. There were some patches of people really into it that I saw. But people seemed to like it in general. More head bobbing than singing...but it's better than nothing at all. And double headlining isn't the same as supporting. He is playing just as long as Snow Patrol I think. He's just playing before them. Which personally I preferred. I watched Jake Bugg and then Noel and then left a couple songs into the Snow Patrol set. If Snow Patrol had been playing first I'd have had to wait around for an hour or something between Jake and Noel...and Snow Patrol really weren't for me. Jake Bugg was great as their support though. Really like his sound.

Why didn't he just pick a few major cities for single gigs ? Lol I'd rather see him co-headlining with Snow Patrol nearby than single gigs in just a "few major cities" and none of them within range of me Can't wait for the Dallas gig, will be my first Noel concert... just over a week to go!

Does anyone think Noel should have dropped all the Oasis songs except for DLBIA for this tour??

Was at the Winnipeg show tonite...Horrible turn out. Capacity of 2500...Actual attendance was maybe 1000.
Noel seemed very happy tho, talked a lot...Joked with the crowd. I told him my wife loved him...He was left speechless! He did mentioned that my comment was very good to Mike Rowe tho. Met him afterwards as well...Very curtious and kind.
He dropped Supersonic for ....wait for it...Wonderwall.

Then when the singing should have started he said "actually no" and started Supersonic instead. I'm glad I saw it in Toronto. Really is a great song regardless of how it's played.

He also changed up the way he normally plays What A Life....The verses were sung in a much, much lower key. Not sure if he's done that before.

I was at the Winnipeg show, and was very surprised to hear Wonderwall. From where I was sitting, Noel was about to start Supersonic when someone yelled out "Supersonic!". Noel looked contemplative for a second, then said something to the other guys, then broke into Wonderwall. So I'm wondering if Wonderwall was never on the actual setlist, but just added to replace Supersonic in order to prove the guy wrong? Seems like a Noel thing to do.
I can't believe how awesome in a mood Noel seemed. At first he seemed pissed that the crowd was so quiet, but after a couple songs they got into it, and so did he. Very interactive with the crowd, which was awesome to see.

Yeah Noel was in a great mood last night. Great performance and interaction with the crowd. Got to meet him before the show and get an autograph, and I asked him to play Freaky Teeth but he just said "nope". Noel's bodyguard was pretty adamant that there were to be no pictures taken which was unfortunate.
He did sign everybody's stuff with my marker and gave me a nod of thanks as he returned it, which was pretty cool.
Spent some time chatting with Phil Smith, he was great to talk to.

I bought myself 4 shirts (2 NGHFB, 2 SP), NGs tour program and Snow Patrols, a NGHFB iPhone 4 cover for my mom and a Snow Patrol coffee mug.
From what I remember they also had Snow Patrol hoodies, more Snow Patrol shirts as well I think.
Nothing super cool, but good enough for me.

Is the merch any different from what was being sold on his first US tour last year?

Is the merch any different from what was being sold on his first US tour last year? Only the tour program was the same as last year in November 2011. Dot think that I recognized anything else There wasn't a lot only about 4 shirts and a few knicknacks.

Will be Hammond later today. I would amazed if I got to see Wonderwall and LTLSALOM like the Kansas City crowd got. @gd. That's why Noel should never change his setlist
