How many songs has liam had released now, that he's written?
What are all the songs he's written and do you think it would make a good solo album?
I havnt heard pass me down the wine or wont let you down yet.

It'd be kind of like Lennon's solo albums. Sort of quirky simplier songs.
If you want to be technical, you can mention take me for a tenth track

Born On A Different Cloud is Liam's finest work to date.
Even Noel said when Liam played him the song he didn't believe he had wrote it. ;D
Songbird is probabley his best song though, i think that's what Liam is good at, shortish, simple songs, from his heart.
I think Guess God Think's I'm Abel should be released after The Importance Of Being Idle.
The Meaning Of Soul would be great as a single, if it weren't as short as it is.
By the way, in my opinion, Little James isn't Liam's worst song - Better Man is.

I agree. Better Man lacks any soul. Little James has a naive feeling to it, but it's actually pretty cool.

I personally think "Guess God Thinks I'm Abel" is the best song on DBTT. Kudos to Liam.

I'd say it's a tie between Love Like A Bomb and Guess God Thinks I'm Abel
And I agree Jobero on the Better Man..... do you think he wrote that riff, cos it's really cool, though used too much.

I think that Born Of A Different Cloud is his finest song and Love Like A Bomb is close to it. This ballad is awesome.

I would love that album from start to finish. If Noel decides to release a solo album Liam might do the same, he's got so many songs (or so he says ;D).

From an interview with Noel posted today, I thought it was worth mentioning in this thread: Q: What about Liam [going solo]? A: I think he'll do it before I will. He's got more songs, and he's a lot more driven in that department, because although he's 30-odd, he's only just started writing songs, so he's kind of where I was when I was 21. live4ever.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=Band&action=display&thread=1124645359

You guys also forgot Love Me And Leave me, the song he wrote for the Seahorses.
And I wonder what ever happened to the song he wrote in jail, They Ain't Got Nothing On Me, They Ain't Got Nothing On You . . .
A new album of Liam songs we haven't heard that he wrote before now would probably just be a footnote in the Oasis legacy, but if he put his effort into new material I'll bet it could stand well on its own.

"Love Like A Bomb" and "Guess God…" are fine songs and all, but I'm looking forward to a Liam solo album with about as much enthusiasm as I'm waiting to see what Tony McCarrol does next.

Why can't we just have an Oasis album of songs written by Liam rather than a solo album.
