So Noel says that he is planning on "jazzing up the show" for the arena tour. Since there isn't much going on on here. What would you like to see Noel do?
I think that at least bringing strings/brass on would be great. Maybe even a choir.
I hope he adds LTLSALOM and ASGOG. Switched out with MF and IGTFB if he doesn't want to extend the set.
I think EOTR should be opening the show.
I think he should be flipping around encore. All Oasis songs in the encore isn't right.
I'd also like AOTR to be played somewhere.
I'd prefer Slide Away to be played in the acoustic bit with the Wonderwall in the middle rather than Supersonic.
If someone could let Noel know my wishes...that'd be great.

definitely be bringing in choir and strings. the synths used live so far have been good, great infact but these arena performances need to sound HUGE and synths wont cut the mustard.
he may even introduce a 2nd AA song, (slowly introduce us) or like you mentioned swap oasis songs about a bit. Id be happy with a huge screen projecting an image of Katy Perrys boobs in all honesty.

Probably strings and brass, and I'd like him to drop some songs (IGTBF, Talk Tonight, HTWA, Supersonic) and put some new ones (ASGOG would be a perfect opener, and least used Oasis chuuunes)

I think it will be a subtle change, but with surprises. If I had the choice ASGOG would be on the set, as well as The Masterplan

More back-up dancers, maybe two DJs opening? I hear Skrillex and Tiesto will be joining him for TDOYAM.

I was hoping for well known support acts with the prices weve all paid for tickets. Anybody got any ideas who could be supporting? I know the smoking barrels have a got a slot on the Newcastle gig But surely they will just before the main support act.

He'll never play Alone of the Rope ffs, it's boring and not even meant to be released.

And I should add that it'd never be suitable for arenas.

And to be honest, a lot more casuals will be seeing Noel in arenas. They don't wanna be seeing something that not even some of his true fans have heard. Just won't work.
Everybody's On The Run Mucky Fingers Dream On If I Had a Gun... The Good Rebel The Death of You and Me Freaky Teeth Rockin' Chair Wonderwall Supersonic (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine AKA... What a Life! Talk Tonight Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks AKA... Broken Arrow Half The World Away (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach Little By Little Stop The Clocks The Importance of Being Idle A Simple Game Of Genius Don't Look Back In Anger
Something like that I'd say.

I hope he plays ASGOG and picks an upbeat song off the AA album to play. I don't think Noel expects the AA album to sell masses anyway so I don't see the harm in playing a few of the songs off it and generating some interest in it early on.
If he didn't introduce any Oasis hidden gems to the smaller crowds that he knew would be mostly avid fans than sadly I don't see him playing any for the masses that will be mostly casual fans.
These are the obvious untouchables: Half the World Away DLBIA The Masterplan Half the World Away The Importance of being Idle Wonderwall
I wish he'd sneak in a few of these babies: Sad Song Take me Away Setting Sun/Fade In-Out The Girl in the Dirty Shirt Roll it Over Shout it out Loud Step Out
Also at the London gigs I'd expect Paul Weller to turn up for a few songs with Noel, pity I live in Ireland.

I think he should try and change the pace of the set a bit, something like Full On would give it a great kick up the arse I hope he does the "Oasis version" of IGTBF, not really a fan of the new one and it's a weird song to open with. He should drop Mucky Fingers, nobody really knows or sings along to it. As much as I love Supersonic, it shouldn't be given an acoustic treatment and only Liam can sing it electrically so I reckon he should drop that and stick Rockin' Chair, Live Forever or Sad Song in the acoustic set with Wonderwall. Would also love to see the acoustic version of DYKWIM make a return but doubt it. I also think he should try and spread the Oasis songs out a bit more, they're in little clusters at the moment. Hopeful of seeing LTLSALOM make an appearance after it was soundchecked in Boston.

As much as we'd like to see a few set changes, I think we're probably only going to get brass/strings and the order switched around a little. Maybe one or two adds/drops to the setlist.
I'd love to see him do Setting Sun/Fade In-Out, though. Or Fade In-Out by itself as an opener. Unorthodox, but he seems to like those.

Flashbax would be nice, we need some more Be Here Now love in the setlist. Agreed..those songs get better with age for me and it's a shame that we'll likely never hear most of them again.

Anyone else get their tickets in for the arena gigs? Mine showed up today for the SECC.
In re-guards to the setlist, bring in A Simple Game of Genius for definite. And as Noel will continue to play Oasis songs, then I'd like to hear Stand By Me in there, Rockin' Chair or Some Might Say for something different. Loose Good To Be Free and Mucky Fingers

He'll add some brass and maybe strings. He MIGHT swap out a song or 2, but that's it. No way does he change the entire setlist and I highly doubt he alters the encore. He's too stubborn and set in his ways to make sweeping changes.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the setlist is exactly the same. He's so monotonous in his routine, I wouldn't be surprised if his idea of jazzing up the show a bit was just adding a new rack of lights.
