They are working on this record a year ago. In 2012 they didn't report anything on Facebook or Twitter.
C'mon Kelly!

Unless Kelly has done the least expected....
If John Farnham rumor mills are correct (I hope not), another album is on the way. I blame the fans.

Read an interview with Kelly from late last year a few months ago, can't find it now pretty sure I remember him saying they were planning a big wanky concept album/rock opera type thing though

I've bought only one new release this year so far: "No One Can Ever Know" - The Twilight Sad This album is much less heavy and dark than the last one, but an another fantastic album by Sads. Next one is "Sonic Kicks" by Weller. I'm seeing him in June for the 7th time (solo)

Gustaf Norén and Björn Dixgård from Mando Diao have released a new record. Under a new band/project, called Caligola. Hip hop beats, great pop melodies, and some rap. It don't sound like Mando Diao, but if you like them. You should have a listen to this album. It's pretty good.
Gustaf said in a swedish talkshow recently, that Mando Diao is going to release the next album this summer. In swedish, though. Unfortunately for you English fans...

I was just gonna post about Beach House! Absolutely amazing album, they managed to meet and pass my expectations which is crazy because Teen Dream is one of my favorite albums of all time. Everyone should definitely check it out! That and Lee Ranaldo's new album are my two favorites!
Other stuff I've been digging: Feel The Sound by Imperial Teen and Sees The Light by La Sera

Thanks Swarfiga! Gustaf Norén and Björn Dixgård from Mando Diao are a brilliant songwriting duo.
Here's 2 bands I'm falling love with. They're both really talented.
The Magnetic North - a project by Erland Cooper, Simon Tong (both from Erland and The Carnival) and Hannah Peel.
Their first album "Orkney: Symphony Of The Magnetic North" is out last week. Fantastic music, truly beautiful. I'm a huge fan of Erland and The Carnival. Discovered them at London Calling 2 years ago. Erland Cooper is a very talented.
and an another my favourite Scottish band, Kassidy. They just released the second album called "One Man Army". Their music is powerful, yet gentle and brilliant.
I'm finally seeing them tomorrow and twice a day! First an acoustic session in a small church (invited only), then 2 hours later in a former chuch Paradiso. Really looking forward to it.

I agree Mimmi, this is beautiful. I find it strange how folk in Orkney know basically nothing about this. Sums up the beauty of the place though I just wish some people back home could fully appreciate it, when I just don't think they do (by that, I mean the place and the singer).

Listening to Elysian's new one now, surprising how they do it without a contract

Language by Zulu Winter is a good album too. I've just seen them twice on Friday. I agree Mimmi, this is beautiful. I find it strange how folk in Orkney know basically nothing about this. Sums up the beauty of the place though I just wish some people back home could fully appreciate it, when I just don't think they do (by that, I mean the place and the singer). This song was about a girl from Orkney, right? Very sad story. This song has a certain atmosphere, mix of sadness and beauty.

still gotta listen to the new Walkmen record, but they are practically like Spoon now in terms of reliability crafting great albums.
Best Coast's new record doesn't come close to their charming, hazy, debut but it has some nice tracks and bethany cosentino has matured/transformed into a good vocalist. Now I'm just waiting for her lyrics to catch up.
Richard Hawley's new album is pretty stunning. the guy has been silently making some of the best music since the demise of britpop.
I haven't checked out the new cribs album but I was wondering if any of you guys have seen them live? I might make a drive to go see them in june.

Angus Stone solo album sounds pretty good. I just wish he would try less to sing like Bob Dylan

I've seen them live twice with my forever guitar hero in 2008 and 2009. The first time when I saw them was mental, really great live. I'm loving Kassidy's seond album. I loved their first album and the new album sounds less folky, but full of energy. Just saw them twice last week and they were amazing.
