With 2011 almost over, I think it's time for new music coming out in 2012 to get it's own thread! There's the obvious (new Paul Weller, Noel's AA album, possible new Stone Roses?) that will get their own threads, but let's try and drop some new and exciting music here for everyone to listen!
I know quite a few of you here like Tame Impala (who are releasing a new album next year), but their sister band Pond will also be releasing their second album in March.

Great thread, TheImportance!
I'm going to have a listen of Pond. Thanks for recommending.
This year has been an another great music year for me. Saw lots of bands and discovered some good new bands. I hope it'll be the same or even better next year.
I'm looking forward to the new releses next year:
The Twilight Sad (3rd album) Weller Broken Records (3rd album) Frightened Rabbit (4th album) Cat Power (c'mon, Chan!) Miles Kane (2nd album) The Moons (2nd album)
and the EP's and first albums of those new bands I've seen/discovered this year:
Pale Seas French Wives

I think both The Soundtrack Of Our Lives and Mando Diao will release a new album next year. Very much looking forward to that. And of course the second album from Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher. I hope SULK get to release a full length album next year. They have very good potential to be a very great band. I love their two singles, who came out this year.
Miles Kane's album is gonna be great too. I really liked his first solo album. Isn't time for a new album from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, too?
And then we have one guy called Thåström here in Sweden who gonna release a new album, and Kent is going to come out with a new album. They sing on swedish, so that's nothing for the english people to look forward to, though.
Looks like it's gonna be a great year for music next year too!

2 amazing bands. Don't really see them mentioned anywhere, which is criminal. Check them out. Debut albums are superb & new stuff i've heard live is also brilliant

I think the Hives will be putting a new record out this year. Although I did/do enjoy the Black and White Album and appreciate the new direction, I am really looking forward to another half hour of their trademark trebly, rattling punk rock.

Yep, I'm hoping a full Hives tour is coming up (considering they're playing Coachella). Not a huge fan of their music, but I've heard they're incredible live.
