God bless. people like you are the reason why i think, that oasis fans are the most close minded people ever! dig out your soul was great because of songs like High horse lady or nature of reality, cause they made finally something diffenrent and got of their, "give the people what they want" track. with fans like you a band would not be able to survive the progress of enhancement and change. if you want songs like "supersonic" or "don't look back in anger" just listen to the first two records, cause THEY ARE ALREADY WRITTEN!!! Erm, I don't think he only wants Supersonic and Don't Look Back In Anger. In my opinion, the songs on DOYS are just not of high quality. Which is for me what counts, the quality. I mean, it's great that they went down a slightly different path, but if there aren't quality tracks to accompany it, then it's hard to like it for the effort. Effort will make me appreciate an album, but quality songs will make me love an album. For me, DOYS is okay, but it hasn't aged well and just doesn't have the quality. Anyways, no problem with loving DOYS. To each their own. |

God bless. okay got your point. would love the scrapped AA too. i'm a bit harsh on persons that seem, like they don't believe the last two albums, could be favorites for someone. got into oasis with Don't believe the truth and wasn't that happy with dig out your soul at first, but was really impressed how it growed on me. |

The Masterplan is not an album. It's a compilation.
I love the tunes on it, but I think including it in an albums ranking list is a bit of a cop out considering there's a lot from the same era left off. If I think of Talk Tonight or even The Masterplan, I think of the singles they appeared on, not The Masterplan.
