Well, if he insists on smoking and drinking his voice will start deteriorating once again. It really would be a fucking shame if he put all his hard work to waste now.

The Roller and Bring The Light from Chile the other night. Didn't know where to put it and didn't think it was worthy of a new thread. I find it amazing this far in to the tour Liam is still pulling out performances like this, this version of The Roller sounds as good as the versions he was doing 7 or 8 months ago, great stuff. Spot on! Good find Rolo. I heard FLW on the main newspage and noticed he started that tendency to not finish the last word in each line, like in 2005...so I was a little worried. But he sounds amazing here on the Roller! Going to listen to BTL now. I've watched all the videos from the gig in Chile now. They're on TOP form. Wigwam sounded amazing! Liam is still singing really good, especially to be this far in the tour! You can clearly hear now that his bad vocals a few weeks ago where due to being sick, cause he's sounding great again now. Beady Eye is not finished at all. They're only just getting started!

...he's biting off the end of his phrases again. They've done over 80 gigs now? He's sounding a bit rough. Hardly a shocker.

The best gig ever of venezuela is one of the classic GNR at '92 when it rained a bit when they played November rain(or atleast thats what some friends of mine say)

What...someone put up a video of him and commented on how amazing he was doing. He's doing exactly the shit that I hated him doing in Oasis. If people are going to put up videos for the forum to show how amazing Liam is doing and he isn't doing that great don't expect me not to comment.

Well, his voice was clearly better earlier this year, but I think he's sounding really good. I'm amazed by the strength of his voice now. Haven't gone to a Liam concert since may 2009 and his voice was really poor and weak at the time.

With Noel's album selling however many more than Beady Eye and this mini UK tour not selling out alot of the Noel lovers were telling everyone that Beady Eye are finished. How popular and great Noel is in the media and with his celeb fwends.
Well having just come back from Blackpool, i can safely say there is still a lot left for Beady Eye. And Liam is still as popular as ever with the loyal fans. It was an incredible gig. Superb venue. And the vocals from LG were untouchable.
If you add Songbird, I'm Outta Time and Turn Up the Sun + a great 2nd album you are looking at a superb setlist. As long as Liam is still mad fer it and so are the fans, the future is bright for Beady Eye.

For Gods sakes. No one with any sense thinks that BDI are finished.
They sold a decent amount of album. They did several sold out tours to enthusiastic audiences in the UK and several places in Europe. Whoever their tour promoter is unfortunately over estimated the live demand a little bit with some of the date on this latest tour...but that isn't BDI's fault.
I think pretty much everyone is waiting to see what they can pull out for their second album since they are promoting this one next one as going to be life changing.

I don't think anything was overestimated with this tour. Sure, they'd love them to sell out. But a few tickets being spare doesn't make the tour a failure or mean they'll make a loss on it.

There was a lot of people on here that were saying "Noel sells out the o2 arena, Liam cant sell out the Oasis Leisure centre, game over" etc. Beady Eye are not living off Oasis songs and their gigs have so much more energy than Noel's, in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for Noel in Feb but Friday was amazing. Whatever you think of the songwriting, Liam and co have really showed they are great performers in their own right without Noel.

Whatever you think of the songwriting, Liam and co have really showed they are great performers in their own right without Noel. Always the same thing, Liam is great performer but not a great songwritter. But he's good, if they make choices and get rid of the ridiculous tunes like Beatles and Stone, the next BDI labum will be very good. Noel is still an amazing songwritter and a far better singer than before, but his shows miss Liam rock n roll energy. So now he's playing the singer-songwritter card, saying "my voice isn't important, only the songs matter, like with Bob dylan". But before he had both : amazing songs and Liam's amazing voice to sing them. So I really don't see how becoming a singer songwritter is a progression. Noel album will always miss Liam and Liam's album miss Noel, there's no solutions but to enjoy that we still have shows and albums period.

I agree. But there was a fair amount of threads saying they are finished in the Noel bumming section. He says while bumming Liam in every section Do i? I have stated many times that i love Noel and his new album has the 3 best post oasis songs on it. There is no denying this forum is incredibly biased towards Noel. Before you start labelling me why dont you actually take time to read my posts?

I was only asking where people had been saying "Beady Eye are finished" in the "Noel bumming section"....since I have only seen that in the Liam bumming section by someone trying to stir the pot. No need to get all fucking worked up about it

About his voice, I checked the video in Rio and he's doing not bad. I think his vocal chord was damaged and he will never fully recover from that, but he's doing better than he did on DOYS tour which he sounded dreadful most of the time.

And yes Noel is relying on Oasis songs.
