OK answered my own question: capacity of up to 20,000. So that's 10x more. Big step up

Hmmm... nachos.
Seems Noel's changed his mind on that soulless, corporate venue.

Liam must feel like an ass. Beady Eye are playing closets and Noel is back playing in arenas. Clearly, we all know that Oasis is Noel.

Noel playing the O2 is a bit of a u-turn on comments he made about it in the past.
Glad I'm seeing him at the Roundhouse instead of that place.

Events of up to 10,000. Half the size of the O2.

They'll add a second Manchester show too if first one sells quickly.
Personally I think the vibe of nghfb will probably work better in smaller venues so I'd expect more oasis songs for the arena tour.
Having financed the album and his new record company himself, Noel is clearly intent on attempting to maximise income through extensive publicity and touring.
I'm surprised they'd go for arenas so early on, it appears a but risky.

Given the album sales, arenas are a fucking must

so Noel moves onto the O2 without playing a gig yet and Liam can't sell out the Swindon Leisure Centre

Many didn't... yeah, but this is too big! he was always saying that he hate the o2 arena and now he's playing there one, two, three night..? and now all these people coming and waiting to hear wonderwall... nice one

I'd rather have people just there for Wonderwall than someone like me who owns every Oasis album in multiple formats, all their singles, and same again for NGHFB (and Beady Eye) not be able to get tickets, which is exactly what happened with this little tour. I'm made up he's doing arenas.
