+ NGHFB album at #24...which is only 4 spots behind Adele - 21. Up to #20 today At this rate, Noel's gonna be back in the top 10 before long. Vfest steamed anywhere? Be cool if he popped into the top 10 for a week.

There will be a live stream on V's website: www.vfestival.com/..................................................................................................... It would be cool to see him in the Top 10 again. I don't think it will happen though. He'd have to get a bump of at least 10k to be back in the Top 10 I believe....correct?

The last couple weeks #1 albums were a bit over 9,000 units sold. Couple weeks ago had the dubious honor of the lowest selling #1 of all time I believe.

No wonder gits like Olly Murs can get number one albums. If Noel can sell 5000 in a week, I reckon that'll get him near to the top 10. He's selling around 3,600 now. So a big push from V could do it.

Yeah, but that was because the Olympics caused record sales to drop. Now that the Olympics have ended, one would think that sales for most the Top 10 would go up.

9,000 albums for the number one spot. Oh my.
I wonder where the record industry will be in 10 years.

Amazing. May not fall off the top 100 until the tour ends. And to believe there was concern about whether or not he'd get a #1 album.

So last week, Noel sold more than Coldplay. Get in Noel. Get in.

I've played High Flying Birds more than any Oasis album since Be Here Now.

I've played High Flying Birds more than any Oasis album since Be Here Now. Almost agree with this. I almost never play HC or SOTSOG's the whole way through. I'll be in the mood for certain songs, but almost never the whole album. And even when I do want the whole album, I start listening and then realize that I was dead wrong on that thought. I listen to DOYS once in a while. Last time I listened to it the whole way through was about a year ago. The only album that comes close is DBTT. HFB's is coming right up behind it in plays. Which is why I liked HFB's. Because when it was released, I thought and still think, that it's one of the album that I can continually take for the next few years and listen to it and still like it.

Whih people? HFB isn't near DBTT's sales. It sold more than DOYS and it's nly because DOYS wasn't an easy catchy album with strong single. HFB is. People wanted a "good" album, not a Noel album, if HFB have been an Oasis album, it would have sell 2x more than HFB. And HFB sold a huge amount in the uk, but the worlwild sales aren't that impressive. Especially compare to an Oasis album.

Oasis is one of the biggest band of all time. If they had made this easy catchy album with great review, it have been a smashing hit. It's just logic.
