Everybodys On The Run @ #35 in the midweeks.
They made the B-Side unavailable to download individually so you HAVE to buy the full EP to get it. They should have done that with DO and that might have got top 40

#34 (40) High Flying Birds
Noel remains in the Top 40 another week. I thought he would have just barely dropped out, but he's still in it. Truly an amazing run. 42 consecutive weeks in the Top 40.

Was so long ago I completely forgot.

Nobody seems interested, but EOTR charted @ # 61 That's about where I thought it would be. It was in the midweeks at #35 purely on the support of pre-sales. He was nowhere to be found on Itunes this. Still, great to see the album at #34.

If NG/BDI still charted highly this forum would wank over the singles charts.... tbh, even when Oasis were charting high on the singles chart, they didn't mean that much on this forum. Sure it was something that people were happy about for a few days, but it never turned into a thread that's even half of this. "Who gives a fuck about the singles charts anyways" has been used by most members of this forum for sometime. I don't know about anyone else, but that has been my experience for the time I've been viewing this forum. The only way it would really make a dent is if it fed in just a bit more to the Liam vs. Noel b.s.

Days of Noel getting number one singles are long gone he can still sell loads of physicals oasis fans live the physical format and despise downloads.

"Everybody's On The Run is the fifth single from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds album. Debuting at number 61 (4,193 sales), it follows The Death Of You And Me (number 15), AKA...What A Life! (number 20), If I Had A Gun... (number 95) and Dream On (number 52). The album, which debuted at number one last October racks up its 42nd straight week on the chart, moving 40-34, with sales of 3,425 copies lifting its career tally to 682,143. Gallagher's former Oasis bandmates, including estranged brother Liam, make up the band Beady Eye, who have had significantly less success with their first album, Different Gear, Still Speeding, which was released in February 2011, and has sold only 174,487 copies."

Knew this would happen... what a pointless release.

Quite obviously wanted a boost from the Olympics - trouble is no-one's playing it. However, I see they've managed to persuade BT to feature it in one of their Olympic adverts, so maybe they'll get a boost from that in the same way What A Life did from the Vauxhall advert.

4,193? That's a disgrace. Almost BDI levels of disgrace.

Meh, I bought both formats. If other people don't that's not my problem.

4,193? That's a disgrace. Almost BDI levels of disgrace. The 5th single, what did you expect? Yeah, there's no real incentive to buy the 5th single of an album. The album has been released for nearly a year. Even with b-side, anyone could just download it from anywhere if they want it. Singles before an album release for a major act should always chart decently because they're a piece of an unreleased album which means you get 2 new songs. Singles after an album release will sell significantly less because the album is out and you're only getting 1 new song. tbh, he's lucky he charted as high as he did.
