did they play anything off DOYS or DGSS ? Chris Moyles (R1) had NG in for the world premier of TSOTL, the interview was hilarious, he was still baked from the night before, it's up on YouTube somewhere. I remember getting up early to listen to it Well worth a listen. Noel is HAMMERED!! |

Just went into the local HMV...As I was in Everybodys on the run was barring out!! in the store (Mega!). Got my copy of the limited edition.

This will be amazing if he gets to number one again. Would mean that the first 8 studio albums he wrote all went to straight to number one (Oasis 7 + Noel solo 1), that has to be some kind of record Led Zeppelin had 8 straight number 1 albums in the UK. I hope the AA album doesn't stop Noel from breaking the record. |

But it depends how well he is selling in high street retail. on all online websites that are selling the physical! (amazon,hmv,play.com) noel is ahead of Matt who is his biggest contender. So we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what his sales have been when pre-orders+downloads and monday high street sales are combined. Im pretty confident he will be #1 for 1st day sales for now at least. |

The Beatles had 11 albums go to number one, shame they released Yellow Submarine which doesn't count IMO as otherwise it would be 11 in a row (MMT wasn't an album in the UK)...but anyway, that still makes nine in a row by my count
This will be Noel's 9th #1 album btw as Time Flies went top as well

ASDA had it at #2 behind Cardle today...that's usually just based off a guess though I think. They had Beady Eye at 1 on release day.

AKA... What A Life could re-peak this week if it keeps improving the way it is. There a 4 versions charting on iTunes (#59, #62, #182 & #234) which when combined is somewhere in the low 30s. They are improving all the time also. Add physicals to that and it may sneak top 20 again.

Being ahead in all the charts and in preorders Noel will have to drop off significantly and Cardle will have to pick up significantly to overcome the difference. I think Noel's #1 is pretty safe. *knock on wood*

Theve left it too late to release Cardles album, if this happened around June tine it would have stormed this, but since a new x-factor has started and the last series is all forgotten cardle has missed out
