Would be awesome if it hung around at the top for a while. Most Oasis albums post-Morning Glory sunk quite quickly in chart terms, IIRC

The album will be number 2 this week for sure and number 3 the next week. Susan Boyle is dropping a new album of covers again next week. Should be interesting. I wonder if she'll knock Coldplay from the top.

number 2 on the global chart selling 170,000. www.mediatraffic.de/albums.htmHe's topped Ireland, UK and Scotland so far while coming in at 2 in Italy today. It's a pity he didn't release the album in the Americas as it would have bumped him up on the global charts and worldwide prominence

In Spain, Noel entered at 15, Bidi Ah at 13. In this case, i think it´s a matter of musical culture: in the UK everybody knows them, everybody knows who was the big songwriter. Outside, people is buying more Beady Eye cos Liam was Oasis´face. Anyway, i think Noel will sell more than Bidi Ah in the USA too.

Take away UK sales after 2 weeks and you get: Noel: 70k BDI: 76k Beady Eye may be 6k ahead outside the UK, but they had North American sales included in that whereas Noel doesn't. It is close though!

But there's also a load of Belgian artists in there (we have a very good alternative/rock music scene!), which may push the international releases a bit back in the charts...

Anyone have sales stats for that?
He was projected for a further 50-70K
He's definitely gold certified now.
I'm curious about how long it takes to go platinum if he can indeed get there

Good stuff, just hoping it doesnt drop like a brick now. He needs to promote IIHAG a lot over the forthcoming weeks.
