I know there is always these BS stories but the more I've looked into this 1 the more is seems to be plausible. I believe Clash were the 1st to break the story btw not NME. However I just read this, so could be just the other 3? - www.nme.com/news/the-stone-roses/59820 |

I am still hoping for some truth in this rumour this time :-) Apart from Reni there has been no other denial statement.
Gordon Smart, the Sun reporter, says they have made space for tour advertising in the paper on Thursday.
I have other sources who say that there will be some sort of Roses announcement on Tuesday coming. We'll see.

Well this would be the gig of the decade if they did reform. Really hope it's true. Tickets would be like rocking horse shit though (1 min sell out as soon as they go on sale and then on eBay for hundreds if not £1k!!!!!)
I'd be there though, as it's the only box I've left to tick of Bands To See before I die. The Beatles (Macca solo the best I could do with that one,) The Who (minus Keith & Jonhny Ent,) The Stones, U2, Led Zep and The 'Sis (17 times I might add) have all been admired on the live front.
