Once it leaks...I'll restrain myself the best as I can. Don't think I can hold out long though.

I'll do my best to be one of the first to download the leak.
I don't understand the lure of needing the first listen to be that special. A great album isn't about any one listen for me.

I'm looking forward to my signed copy, pre-ordered through the US record company.
Am I right that it's out in the UK waaay earlier than the US?

While this is undoubtedly true, there is something very special about the first time you listen to an album you have been waiting for a long time.

I'll most likely be listening to the leak with a bottle of Jim Beam or something.
But if you guys wanna try something different, and you drive:
Burn it to disc, wait till it's dark and there's hardly any traffic on the road and drive down some country roads blasting it.
Good "first listening experience" to any album.

Am I right that it's out in the UK waaay earlier than the US? Yeah, November 8th for us Yanks. Not sure if I can wait that long though. Any Americans know if we get to download the digital version on the 18th if we pre-order?

Fuck you music snobs. Don't get me wrong, I'm gona buy it when it's released (in Ireland... suck it!) but I'm gona download the shit outta it too once it leaks. I'm not too pretentious to think that I've resist for some sort of moral highground reasoning

I clicked that I'd listen to it all the way through...but I mean that I am going to listen to the leak the whole way through.
I don't need sleeve notes immediately. I'm not all that concerned about the first listen because I don't generally love songs on the first listen. It takes until the 2nd or 3rd listen for the tunes to really sink in.

Yeah, I think for people in North America it's a just a different situation. It would be great to have the album in our hands and listen to it, but the wait is just too long. It's not like were in the UK and if leaks today we'd have to control ourselves for only a week. Everyone in N.A. would have to wait a full month to actually hear it, if any of us wanted to wait until the actual physical release.
That's just asking too much. So I expect just about everyone from the N.A. side of the pond to hear the leak on full blast fully. If there's a person from N.A. who is actually willing to wait till the N.A. release date, more power to you. I certainly couldn't do it.
So I shall be hearing the leak on the fully blast fully.

You see, you saying ridiculous shit like this annoys the fuck outta of me, yeah? (But of course I'm a "troll", so of course my dissenting opinion is just mere baiting, or whateverthefuck).

When I get the album I'll be dropping a tab of acid and then when I'm proper tripping I'll queue the album on WinAmp and watch the whole thing from stRt to finish on the visualizer. If anyone here trips acid I seriously reccomend you download WinAmp. The visualized on it is called milkdrop And it's redefined my understanding of music. It's pure beauty. Combine that with my favorite artist of all time for a new album I haven't heard yet and it's a life changer for sure.
Happy listening!

lol if there's one piece of advice that you will ever take from a stranger, let it be the downloading of WinAmp bro. The Visualizer is the unreal. And it's free.

I wish I could ignore the leak and wait for release next friday...but considering how long I have been waiting for this album, I'll probably download the leak as soon as I can (and buy the album on release day anyway). Then it's listening to the whole thing on full blast, of course.

Yes ofcourse it is, but it doesn't matter if it's a leak or the album. After all, it's the same album. If it leaks, I'll listen to it as soon as I can and enjoy every second of it. If it doesn't, I'll wait for the release to do the exact same thing

Can not wait for Friday week. Not going to bother with the leak. Gonna find an old discman and listen to the CD on the train home.

i have pre ordered a signed copy from the states, but i wont get my hands on that until end of Nov as i am on holiday in the middle of the month. so it will be the leak for me. (no moral issue as i have spent 100 quid on gig tickets and 20 notes on the album)
will listen to it the whole way through first (though i am pretty keen to play stop the clocks).
