This thread sucks. Someone better leak the album soon or the forum will implode Out of curiosity, how long before the release date did the Beady Eye album leak? I seem to remember it being fairly early on. Each act has the same management, so perhaps the same people will be receiving the album and leaking it...

Beady Eye's album leaked roughly two weeks before it's street date (Feb. 28). I seem to remember it leaking Feb. 13 the night of the Grammys because I thought it was a good night seeing Arcade Fire win Album of the Year and get Beady Eye's debut LP the same night.

Japanese release date is October 12th. So if it leaks, it will be soon. But I bet it will not leak.

Thanks Lennon. I wish his album would be previewed somewhere. The new Ryan Adams album is streaming over at NPR. And just a couple of weeks ago, Laura Marling's record was streaming on the NY Times. I guess there could be a slight chance of Noel's album streaming in on a US site to help with promotion, seeing as he appears to making an bigger effort than usual over there. Rumour on the Soapbox is a leak tomorrow - but that just feels a little early to me.

Dimitiri is going to have to give us NEW information besides just his description of the songs. All the lyrics he's posted are in the various interviews we've read. I'm starting to thinking he's making this up. New account? Hmmm... Seems like he's one the trolls finally getting the attention his lonely life needs. Ask me something, anything you want about the album, and I will answer you to the best of my ability. I honestly had no idea that the "harp" lyric and EOTR appearing at the end of STC was information people knew about. If people don't believe me, that's fine - but could you not de-rail the thread? Thanks a lot.

Who the hell is rollwithit? He has apparently been involved in leaks before or at least known the people involved.

Can you rank all the Oasis albums with DGSS and Noel's HFB included? I want to see how this album stands up against all the other albums, if it breaks into the top echelon of the Oasis hierarchy/trilogy, and how much better you consider it to be than DGSS. (Albeit after only one casual listen) Please include an actual ranking as while there is a general consensus on the rankings, we all do differ a bit, so I need your ranking to add context to how this album stands along side all the other Oasis releases. Cheers. I'm actually uncomfortable comparing NGHFB to any Oasis album, as it's not really comparable to any. But, here goes: DM (10/10) TM (9/10) NGHFB (9/10) MG (8/10) Be Here Now (8/10) SOTSOG (7/10) DBTT (7/10) DOYS (7/10) HC (6/10) DGSS (5/10) I bought DGSS and didn't like it very much. I like Millionaire and Four Letter Word. I hate The Beat Goes On. Actually I guess you could compare NGHFB to The Masterplan and DOYS.

I'm very skeptical but I think I believe you Dimtri and if nothing else it is generating excitement on here.
Is there any song on there that is a bit different from Noel's norm and is there anything at all that's fast paced or slightly heavy?
