Do STC and RM sound like the demos, or do they have more flavor to them as a finished product?

Which songs have choir? And strings? Really not sure about how many, but it's most prominent on EOTR and SBAJF. But I was discussing the album with a colleague and he mentioned the strings in IIHAG, and I can't even hear strings in that song, so I guess they're pretty buried and I just don't have the ear for it.

SBAJF being your favorite song, could you try and describe what it sounds like? You've mentioned a guitar solo and choir/strings. Fast paced? Any comparable songs?

I don't mean to be rude, but given the amount of fakery around here, how do we know you are telling the truth?

At the end of Record Machine does it still have the 'Stop the clocks' reference?

regardless if this is fake or not. This stuff is entertaining and reminds me of the DOYS madness.

This reviewer (if its not a fake) seems to agree with a lot other reviews that Everybody's on the Run is a great tune on the album. Am I the only one who thought the soundcheck demo sounds boring and plodding. Same goes for Stop the Clocks. I absolutely love TDOYAM cause it has freshness to it and the melodies twist and turn their way through the song. EOTR and STC seems just, you know, flat to me.
I hope, based on the many positive reviews, that somehow these two songs benefit greatly from in-studio polish.

Do you recall any of the lyrics for "Dream On" besides the ones we've already heard of? We know of "Oh me, oh my.. I'm running out of batteries" and "Dream on - shout it out to me".

is the outro/ending in Stop the Clocks pretty much the same as the demo version. I'm normally against people nagging others for not reading the thread they're posting in, but for whatever reason I currently feel like being one of those people. Is the ending the same on STC as the demo? *Puts STC demo on* Edit: Yes, definitely. That almost makes the song, but I'm sure the album version goes on quite a bit longer than the demo one. Think it differs slightly to, but very similar. Hey now.

Kinda hard to get sidetracked ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/1258801/images/A9bL_RjIN9bOhnrQxKjN.gif) And I guess one thing we've all gotta accept is that STC and RM will have the same lyrics from the demos. So, yeah... Noel will still be talking about putting everyone inside his mouth, unfortunately. I mean, it's not that bad since the song itself sounds great from what we've heard. It shouldn't make the song any better or any worse... they're just lyrics.

RM lyrics are mega. I don't think a lot of people get them:
I wanna piece of the world and everyone inside my mouth And all the money I waste, is it a matter of taste? I wanna piece of the world and you can’t make me spit it out
You get one in a million, and if the sun won’t rise on my sole Then I’ll blow
Make of this what you want, but if Noel changed the lyrics 'everyone inside my mouth,' then he would have to change the meaning behind the whole song surely.

You mean "If the sun won't rise on my soul then I'll glow."
Much mor poetic.

Give us some lyrics that we haven't heard yet. Surely there has to be a hook or a phrase that sticks out in your mind from one of the songs we haven't heard.

does anyone actually really care about song information or lyrics? The descriptions are never accurate and the lyrics are...well, just words...

im not buying this, due to there being nothing new, just repeating what has come out in actual published reviews and more because I KNOW that the listening for journos took place in a hotel on friday not an office There was indeed a listening session at a hotel in London, there was also two in separate offices and one in a studio (and probably more I'm not aware of). With respect, it seems to me that you think you know a lot more than you actually do. I guess it might be worth locking this thread, there's no point in causing tension between members of this forum for the sake of a few nuggets of previously unknown information. Feel free to PM me any burning questions.
