I'd probably be wondering where that classic tune came from and why he didn't use that in the first place instead of flattening out the melody into something mediocre. Bloody hell some folk on here type a lot of shite. How insightful. Sorry I don't think it's "mega" but keep this in mind: It's a 30 second clip. Context is everything. People get too hyped up about these things around here because they can imagine the rest of the song to be perfect (Show Me Your Love, every Noel soundcheck ever, What A Life 90-second version, etc.) I'm not going to freak out over a decent bit of sound with a bland melody over the top. Maybe it's amazing. Maybe it's shit. More likely it's somewhere in the middle. In the future try contributing in a more meaningful manner. |

If this is legit, then this snippet sounds very promising. I have higher hopes for the AA album, and this would confirm why.

I didn't really like it. I think it changes the best part of "IIHAG," which is the melody.
But, snippets are always too titillating to get any proper judgment anyway.

Might be a piece of another song, you never know. IIHAG doesn't seem like it'd be one of the three to get the psychedelic treatment but it could be.
Whatever, if there's a clip going around already, it's not going to make it anywhere near next summer without a leak.

It is only a 30second clip, so it feels dumb trying to say anything with meaning about it, but everyone else is doing it so I guess I will throw my hat in the ring.
Frankly, I don't hear anything I like in this. There's nothing that sets it apart from the DOYS remixes and I felt they were a waste of time and effort too. What draws me to the Gallaghers' music is their strong sense of melody, and this has none. 13 tracks like this all blended into one? That scares me. But then 13 tracks is a lot longer than 30 seconds, things can go places.
Glad to see some people get excited by this. I don't, but that's the beauty of music.

thanks to Thuperthonic and deasy55 I think this thread has the best use of gifs in my 5 years here. brilliant. I'm a fan of this snippet its groovy and this album is gonna be a trip. No question that it will divide the forum but I'm probably more excited for the AA album than the HFB one because I really don't know what to expect but I might like the HFB one better the again i haven't heard either so I'll just have to wait and see.
