it sounds shit, mostly because the song doesnt suit that kinda trippy arrangements.

at least it doesn't sound like a demo as the NGHFB version does. Could it be that this is just an outro or something, like singing stop the clock at the end of the RM demo - else its not really the same song based on those two lines anyway.

love it, but i don't really like the original. here's hoping for a nutty 10 min blazing version of Record Machine!

Phew. I was worried about the sound of the album, and whether it was different enough for me to not like it. But it sounds different in a way that provides variety. Not dislikable.

i missed all of this last night, from what i gather..
mmario member leaked it onto one of the threads, but hasnt explained how he managed to get it. Seems to be a genuine member aswell, which makes me think this may well be the real deal. I want to know how he got it though!!
P.S snippet sounds promising

i quite like it. the guitar bit sounds cool. cant really judge it on such a short clip tho.
sounds like he is certainly gonna make up for the lack of guitar solos on the high flying birds album with this one lol. i just hope it does sound like dark side of the moon and not just like a load of the alternate doys versions put together on an abum.
i dont mind him doing something a bit different as long as its good.

Original version is an instant classic. This snippet sounds interesting but, as someone said, may end being one more remix as the ones we got on the DOYS bonus discs

Can you imagine how MENTAL the board would have gotten if this is the first version we heard? And can you imagine how shit the HFB album version would seem after hearing that first

And can you imagine how shit the HFB album version would seem after hearing that first I'd probably be wondering where that classic tune came from and why he didn't use that in the first place instead of flattening out the melody into something mediocre.

Wow, who found this?? I mean, where, how??? I like the instrumentals, it's quite AA's style... not sure about the vocals thought...
Just one question: wasen't the AA cd suppose to be a double disc album? Or am I delusional?

Don't get how the HFB version got some shot for being too different to the s/check... But this is getting serious praise when it's unrecognizable :/

It sounds amazing. That album is going to be fantastic. Reminds me a bit of Primal Scream.

I very much doubt this is legit, they wouldn't have managed to arse up spelling Amorphous Androgynous for a kick off. Are you really moaning about the spelling? I'm verry sorry I messed that up, ok? Don't get how the HFB version got some shot for being too different to the s/check... But this is getting serious praise when it's unrecognizable :/ Because the soundcheck had soul. It sounded real. Inspirational. This too. The other version however, is produced pretty flat.

I agree with NYR that it sounds kickass, I'm left wanting to hear the rest of it to confirm if I like it or not.
That being said, I doubt very much it will beat the original version for me. The one we have now is so fucking good, it defies logic.

Reminds of Champagne Supernova (Lynchmob Beats Mix). Anyone else? Definitely getting that vibe as well. And it's not a bad thing.
